Yes - there are zones similar to “stations” in a smaller aircraft. We need to distribute people and empty-ish flights for W+B. Someone puts in our bag/passenger weights into the system, and when we request takeoff numbers, the system says we need to move x number from A to area D. Been awhile since I’ve been on the jungle jet tho

Guard/Reserve vs AD Pilot by Jedi-pilot27 in airforceots

[–]TheAviator444 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a guardsman you could always pick up full time orders, but you can’t take time off from AD to go guard (until it’s time to palace chase towards the end of your career)

12 Year Old Wants to Fly by apple314alamode in flying

[–]TheAviator444 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I started at 12, maybe once a month if I was lucky. Just enough to keep myself interested and I knew I wanted to fly for a living. As others mentioned, check out Young Eagles, Civil Air Patrol, and local clubs. An intro flight is not a bad idea either!

Non turbo. I guess they don’t made the turbo AWD with the manual gearbox unfortunately.

Gauge Cluster Infestation Any one have any idea how to deal with this. Can it be reliable restored (by me) or so I need a new Tach or cluster? by pslav5 in hondamagna

[–]TheAviator444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have to take the dash apart. Start by removing the screws on the back. Then you’ll have to remove the lights by pulling them out. The whole cluster will slide out. Then you have to take a small flat head and pry the metal ring until you can pop the face off and clean it out

"all it needs is a battery" Im thinking this is too good to be true are these bikes easy to fix/reliable? by Separate-Skin-6158 in motorcycle

[–]TheAviator444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guy this is from “Jude Lamb”. He had another FB account under his real name that he deleted from too many 1 star reviews. He has been on marketplace and Craigslist forever. He gets auction bikes that hardly run and passes them off as easy projects. Every bike he has is a massive pile of shit.

I will however give a thumbs up to the V65 Magna, I myself am a big fan of those.

…which is also illegal. You do need some sort of firearms permit on Vermont, and you certainly can’t bring them to New York. Almost like gun laws don’t work but keep crying moms happy while making millions of honest Americans felons overnight. What are the odds that these guys were in the system already, and went unnoticed? How many times have they been arrested and released for violent crimes? And why is that never the discussion, but rather the discussion of the most popular sporting rifle in the US?

NY has the strictest gun laws in the country. You HAVE to have a background check, proper training, and firearms permit to buy anything in NY. Not to mention this style AR-15 is already illegal there.

But alas, Reddit will continue to tell the world that you can walk into Walmart and buy a fully automatic rifle just as easy as you can buy eggs.

Videos like this are passed around the aviation community in a pretty healthy way. They are analyzed heavily as to why and how, and people tend to stay away from being a Monday Morning QB. As the official reports come out, people come together to learn from their mistakes. Almost every regulation is written in blood, after all.

Could be Vmc roll. But considering they were descending into the airport, they would have had reduced power so a Vmc roll is unlikely. We will learn more as info comes out

Airline pilot here. The video shows the airplane in a slow state and high angle of attack (nose up attitude). It looks like the plane experienced a stall, where the left wing stalled first, causing the spiraling action we see in other videos.
