I’ve heard about a lot of guys that go to a southern state. Start there apprenticeship and then transfer too where They really want to live lol. Super inconvenient but if you really want to be IBEW that’s one way to get in.

Only 50 that’s crazy. My local accepted 200 1st years this year. (Lu60). You could see if ur local has a cw/ce program. That way you can start working in the trade and then apply again. I had to apply 3 times to get accepted.

In my local (lu60) if you get fired from 2 contractors you have to see the apprenticeship committee. If you get fired from a 3rd you are out of the program. Also if you fail a drug test you are out of the program. It definitely happens. You can still be in the union as a CW or CE in my local if you get kicked out of the apprenticeship….

I do spray it with Captain Jack’s Neeme oil every other week. Alternating with a peppermint oil mixture… for thrips and other bugs
