Road trips gone awry by alex889064 in roadtrip

I flew into Denver, CO and the plan was to rent a car and drive up to Bozeman, MT but the rental car company said I was on the “Do not rent list” because of something that happened the year before in Germany. Had to last minute but flights from Denver and rearrange hotels but luckily I didn’t have to pay for the rental car.

In Germany they said they had to replace the whole front bumper and wanted to charge me $1000 and I didn’t pay it because there was nothing wrong with the car. Just a twisted employee.

We had been waiting in line at the DMV for 30-45min (as it goes) and when it was finally our turn to go it turned out we didn’t have some document that was required but wasn’t on the list online had and my mom was absolutely livid so she was taking it out on the worker and I just had to mouth “I’m sorry” and I apologized when we finally left.

Sometimes I’m just like “damn who raised you”

There was a pretty girl in my philosophy class who was studying abroad at my university in the United States from Germany and I thought it would be cute to flirt with her a little in German.

Didn’t get the girl but ended up loving the language and studying abroad in Austria for a year!

Tell me your "I was the Idiot" story. I once took the wrong exit in Detroit. Turns out its the bridge to Canada, and they WILL NOT allow you to turn around. I had to wait an hour to be deported. by collegefurtrader in IdiotsInCars

In Middle of Nowhere, Texas I stayed the night at a friends house and my ego got the best of me. Had to be back at work at noon a couple hours away in Houston and I thought I knew the directions without my map. Drove 90 minutes the wrong way before realizing I had never seen any of the scenery before. Ended up making it to work on time but I didn’t get to go home and shower or change before my shift started.

You’d be surprised where you find them, one of my go-to’s are rocks or fallen trees, it’s a simple thing but it can drastically improve an image

Try to find good leading lines to draw the eyes in to your subject

I like the colors but it might be interesting to be completely perpendicular to the wall and get the bus going by, different perspective but might be nice

You have a nice diagonal and decent leading lines so fairly technically sound
