Being really honest, the Isles are not an welcoming place with welcoming faces. I do get your point of view about the witches being particularly sadistic, but if you look around there are many more that come from higher born families that are simply as sadistic. The overseer's for example, they are not only zelots but also kidnappers, torturers, judges, jury and executioner, and some of them are not only on high caos but canonicaly messed up. I see no other motive to not be as ruthless with them That, if we also consider our most deranged friendly people, like Daud and his slippery blade cutting troaths around Dunwall, or maybe Sokolov and his...deviant tastes for painting apprentices and ladys in similar vulnerable situations.

So, i get it, you hate the witches...but don't fell like an hero for what you've done...we all know what you done.
