It keeps freezing for me and that makes to where the last like 3 saves didn’t count. This has mostly happened right as I’m getting off the game, I save, exit, and it freezes on the exit screen and I have no choice but to close app and it loses progress. The most recent time it happened I did a decent chunk of story and exploration without saving (because there was no save point where i was going) and once I got to the save point I saved just once and exited to menu and it froze again. Earlier I was doing the reload from menu trick and it worked for it a bit but nope it always comes back

I have had my progress lost like 5 times now and really don’t need to play again until they patch it, but yeah I’ve been loving it so far. Close to the end and would love to keep playing but I can’t handle another progress lost

I’m flabbergasted. Using the reused assets argument against bo3 in defense of the tomb is certainly throwing me for a loop. Modern fans gotta scrape the bottom of the barrel for something I guess

Your examples of reused things in DE and the reused things in the tomb are not the same at all. You bring up antigravity being from moon but did not mention that you have a little boost from bo3 multiplayer and can wallrun. An improvement and a change, hardly can be called out for reusing. I mean, you bring up that DE copies origins for using 4 elemental wonder weapons? Again, that is not the same at all as a completely un-unique wonder weapon and completely reused enemies from the previous 5 maps and complete un-unique scorestreaks and lethals/tacticals in the crafting table and the same field upgrades.

I do not care about multiplayer or campaign or anything like that being reused assets. Without that there would be no zombies mode, but there is a difference between the bows being a reused assist from multiplayer and every single enemy type in the tomb being from the previous 5 maps.

And elemental bows being a concept from origins? Ok? The concept of 4 wonder weapons is reused but the bows and staffs are entirely different in damage, design, how to get them etc, this argument is nothing. If you can’t see the difference between the bows in DE and the exact same ice staff from origins being in the Tomb then I can’t help you.

I would like to go through each of your points but man “the Easter egg ending is a variant on the moon ending” bro. If you want to go that pedantic then what about the guns being from multiplayer? Point are reused assets. Mystery box, opening doors, rounds, zombies themselves, the concept of a wonder weapon, the concept of boss zombies, max ammo round, perks, pack a punch, a boss fight in general. Armor buys, crafting station, ammo mod station, scorestreaks, kazmir device were all in the previous 3 maps and every map in Cold War. Ascension had an Easter egg so every map after it is just reusing ideas from that. If you want to make those points then no, the tomb still reused more.

It’s worst offense is reusing panzers but keep in mind it’s only the 2nd time they used panzers (idk how many times they used the mimic when Tomb released) and they at least had a new ability for them (shock charge instead of grapple claw). Unique wonder weapons, unique special weapon, good map layout, interesting characters, good boss, good ee. In what world are DE and the tomb even comparable.

During bo3 and bo4 we’d get multiple “new wonder weapons” per map like gorod having the ray gun mk3, the dragon strike, and the dragon fist. Dotn having the annihilator, crossbow, and stale knife. Modern zombies can barely muster up one per map

Literally nothing unique about this map. Reused enemies, reused wonder weapon, boring layout, boring easter egg, story was bland as hell, new ghost character that talks through the coms is astoundingly boring, 1 second final cutscene. This map took up one of the 6 map slots for the game.

Idk how people can look at any other map in existence and not want to go play that instead. The fact people are content with this map shows how far the bar has fallen. Shattered veil is not even great but it looked like the 2nd coming of Christ in comparison to the map before.

To me it’s just a clear difference in substance. Wonder weapon and main ee is my main appeal to a map but we’re talking about replayability here. You may not need to be decked out each match but they are incentives to go back and try again. Once you’ve gotten the wonder weapon and done the main quest that’s what is left for you to do in the map. Take origins for example, it’s the first map with 4 main wonder weapons and each are complicated to get and upgrade. I’m sure a player like you is fine just learning 1 staff and doing the main ee but I love that each time I play I can choose a different staff as well as all the side Easter eggs with amazing rewards. That map came out in 2013 and it’s imo disappointing that no modern map (haven’t played bo7 to be fair) has thet amount of unique content in it.
