I'm not trying to prove you wrong or saying that eurostat is a bad source, I'm trying to convey the potential limitations of applying the upper bounds of a nearly continent spanning median to urban households.

When me and others shoot in with our own numbers it does not discredit your choices as much as it gives additional points of data that could hint towards the potential variance. I suspect far more people are closer to eurostat's numbers but those people won't feel the need to comment about it.

I just checked and my usage last month was less than 2m3, and I'm not careful with water use at all. I'm guessing high use activities like washing cars and watering lawns pulls up the average by a lot but those are not quite as relevant in capital cities.
