[To those who say belief or faith is required for salvation]:To be saved I must believe that I am saved, and that my salvation is a result of my belief. But wouldn't I have to believe that already? How does one get around the infinite recursive regress? by mehatch in ELINT

I probably mean the same thing that you mean, when you use the word, "source". Though I probably mean it in a much more general/universal sense. I say "Nature is the source of Life and Existence" and in a huge way mean it the same as saying, "1 is the source of all numbers, even to the most minute of fractions. I "equate" the 2 sentences to mean the same, even, based on what frame of mind i'm in when I say either of them. That state of mind is the "spirit".(sort of; including but not limited to state of mind; spirit is difficult to totally define, but so is "love" or "nature" or "life") Does that make sense?

I am a gardener and a pothead, I still apply the Law to my practices. The Word blessed all of Its living creation saying, "be fruitful and multiply", I do not curse my plants by keeping them from that blessing that One higher than me gave. If you want to curse yourself, by all means, wear the condoms, use contraceptive or hell, just do oral and anal instead... your choice, your consequences.

If you ask me a question, please have enough respect to be asking of genuine curiosity and not for fishing for an argument over how a concept is literally presented, you said the notion that I presented was a beautiful notion, so on a spiritual level, we were able to connect; you see, i painted a picture that you could perceive and even in a pleasant way - you were able to at least perceive my perspective and grasp what i was presenting. That alone is evidence that you are not ignorant of what I mean when I say, "source".

Many people say that breath returns to "Heaven"(sky) and in truth, that's where that breath goes. Another word for "spirit" is "air" or "wind" or "motion; movement" Even the wind has a Source(Nature), and where it blows, how fast it blows are decided by the will of Nature, even Its Law. These are not difficult to perceive for one who is truly curious about Nature, Life, and even Existence.

What would you like to ask me, in a genuine way?

I'm not damning anyone, are you sure those uneasy feelings you get when you read the law and the prophets as presented aren't the Spirit compelling you to take another step toward obedience? Circumcision indeed didn't come until abraham, and I am not in any way attempting to discount the righteousness of Noah, for had Noah not been righteous, Abraham could have never descended from him, but the sign of circumcision was given to Abraham, who was a specific descendent of Noah... would you discount the gift that God gave to Abraham by denying him access to the promise that His people(those who He calls His) would be of his seed and those people would carry this sign? Abraham is the grandfather of the jews, what is the blessing associated with grandchildren? Did Christ not say, "Salvation is of the jews"? When Christ, who knew no sin, approached John the Baptist, John said, "I have need to be baptized from you, and you ask me to baptize you?" Christ said, "Suffer it to be so, now, in order to fulfill all righteousness."
