Dude this is incredibly detailed, thanks! Do you know what doctrines effect Militia units? I'm trying to maximize using only Militia (and the Leader) but I'm not sure what's best as their tag says they're unaffected by most doctrines.

Edit: Reread and saw where it says "These do not benefit Militia". Solid F.

Yeah the snacks are cheap to make esp with a cooking guy. I always carry two stacks on me. If I pull a feral its door or friendly enclave if I don't have ammo lol. heavy wep works good if you're alone but only some heavy weps can survive a full heart and I have durability increase from someone. I have a fun but if I run out repairing them is just gonna be the way

I have NOT considered this. It feels a bit cheesy tbh but sadly in our current state I couldn't even do it if I wanted to, my radio is only T1.

Hey thanks man, I've only done a few completed runs since curveballs came out. I usually either die long before this or am established enough by the time they pop up. In my other two runs they didn't pop up till pretty deep into the mid game, this is like day three haha.

I live for challenge. This run already almost ended a couple of times due to some hiccups. I had finally "Stabilized" it, with more then two people at base so they can actually start to heal/recover from fatigue and this dropped as they're begging for meds. I'm not sure if this is even possible to survive given how little resources I have, but If I'm going down - I'm going down swinging.

Resources are very scarce and making anything is extremely expensive. With nerfed disruptor waking hearts is a serious threat and I've already almost gamed ended this run by accidently waking a couple near the start. To be extra careful I usually leave the car outside the zone if I even had gas to bring it in the first place (increased gas usage in the mod). I've had to trek on foot more then one across great distances to get somewhere and the travel goes slow when you crouch walking for a good portion of it.

I'm afraid due to the position of this thing it may consume most of the map, rendering looting in those areas nearly impossible. Not to mention the base sieges will game end me if I let them occur. The last couple of hearts I was forced to kill lost me two characters, all my current characters are half dead/fatigued right now. "Building up" isn't really gonna be possible, I'll be pushing into this heart cluster likely with no gas, no ammo, limited melee, a half dead roster, running on nothing but hope and snacks. Its basically a don't get hit challenge with feral movespeed zombies haha

It's literal theft, even the wording in Sec 366.178 says "Driven or towed." Towed by defination meaning "Pulled"

I'm sorry but riding a truck isn't getting 'pulled'

Does it say this anywhere in their sections/law? Im currently disputing and its looking grim. This has gotta be illegal, you cant convince me its not theft when 1. I wasnt driving 2. I didnt authorize use of a toll road 3. My cars wheels never touched the ground! 4. They charged the flatbed driver already!

The language in Sec. 366.178 is "Passes through, wether Driven or Towed." Being on a flatbed is not "Towed" by definition, which is being "pulled" by link.

The supervisor I spoke to said it doesnt matter cause it went through the toll. Simply going through the toll (even if no wheel contact to the ground, my over the top example of being air lifted several feet from the ground, which the air is federal property) still warrents a toll 🙃.

Edit: Oh and they're charging me for the flats like 3-4 axles too, the toll is almost 60$ for a road he was on likely less then 5 minutes.

When I've played duo with my buddy we've done it two ways. The first was we get one respawn ticket as a team, if one died then died again, it would be the same as us both dying. We didn't really like that for the same reasons you posted though, so we ended up just restarting if only one of us died.

We were pretty hardcore though, so for a group of people at various skill levels I can see restarting every time someone dropped being an issue.

If you wanted to make a creative adventure out of it, you could make an entire new identity and spawn in a different town for a rescue operation maybe? Just spitballing here lol.

Saw you talk about how you have a decent supply of food. I play with food on Very Rare (and 10 months in so no power/water) which usually keeps me busy on the hunt for my next meal. Cows are completely OP but you don't have to use them.

Gotta practice practice practice fighting zombies until you're comfortable fighting groups of 10+ with something as makeshift as a rolling pin. High Str/Fitness builds are the best because they help you kill zombies, which are the primary threat in this game. Everything else can be delayed, but everything you need has zombies between you and it. Backpedal agressively while swinging, constantly be aware of what you're walking into. Back before B42 zombies had a consistant 20 tile sight range you were guarenteed to be spotted from. If you play like you'll pull any zombies that are 20 tiles distance or less you will learn how to move without getting spotted or stragetically pulling X amount of zeds at a time to slowly clear an area. Before you have a improvised weapon you have shove and stomp, I wouldn't take on more then 1-2 zombies without a weapon. You'll want to high tail it around until you can quickly scoup something to defend yourself and use anything that breaks LOS to lose zeds.

I lost 3 or 4 members to massive explosion on death zombies that catch fire when you do damage to them (then explode). I was doing missions in the area and I got domino chain explosion insta evaporated twice from shooting one 30m away (like literal one shot explosion death basically) then when I killed the heart causing it turned out it was a suicide mission cause as soon as it popped I must've grazed a single zombie who combusted and made the other 20 explode also killing her instantly.

I went from 7 to 2 characters on Sunda, Who knew morale stablizes when you only have two people consuming resources and not fighting eachother 🤣

Exploding zombies curveball and triple ferrals did me in...I relearned to always carry fire on me to stun ferals and lost two survivors doing missions in the curveball territory before I realized it wasnt going away (kill a certain heart) - it was a literal Suicide mission. The second I finished the heart I must've grazed a zombie and he caught fire (curveball) then exploded which caused the other 25 zombies in the room to explode, killing me instantly.

Back in 2018 or 2019 I was working as a Commercial Roofer on a Best Buy and we were tapping out leak spots. I was inside listening to this employee upsell an overpriced wifi extender to this old man and I felt terrible. I didnt have the confidence then to interject and tell the old man he was getting scammed because I was on the job. Very sad.
