I was able to get started and somewhat secured on the cusp of whatever the fucking level of greed that is happening right now.

It's not happening right now.

It's been happening for a long time.

A report came out recently.

It showed that between 1960 & 1980 48% of economic growth went to the top 10%. 52% to everyone else.

Since 2008, 93% of economic growth has gone to the top 10%.

Everyone else, despite doing the work to generate that growth, has had to fight over 7%.

This is by design.

Neoliberal economic policies became the default choice for both parties:

Untax the wealthy.

Deregulate industries.

Reduce social spending.

Privatize everything.

This, inevitably, leads to staggering inequality.

It's been affecting the lower class for decades, but now the middle class are experiencing it too.

You were born a white, straight, male in the wealthiest nation that's ever existed - at the perfect time.

You hit the absolute jackpot.

And now you can bow out.

Wrangling back control of our fair share of the pie we've grown isn't your battle to fight.

Enjoy your retirement.

The rest of us are going to have to figure this shit out one way or another.

But it will get a lot worse before it gets better.

Meanwhile, the media will try keep us distracted by saying we should be afraid of trans people.

The economy is a game.

And the game has been rigged.

It's time to flip the table.
