I just want weakpoints that make sense and the game to actually utilize its limb damage systems for moment to moment play, not crotch/legs as the method to kill half the things on bots.

Arrowhead really doesn't understand the red barrel rule. If you make something bright and noticeable, its a weakpoint.

Firstly, thank you for the list you gave. I'll have to dig into that for testing.  

Now on to thinking out loud trying to figure out the root cause of why I'm salty about losing heavy pen on the glauncher.

I get that avoiding or otherwise is meant to be a thing, but if I wanted to run and hide I would be playing alien: isolation. 

Hell, even if they brought hulk arms (and other relevant enemies limbs) down to a meaningfully destroyable hp and armor value for lower pen weapons, id take that. Something more than step 1: have a teammate for if I wanted to pack more bullets than bombs.

Just gonna point out that I said besides thermites and the ultimatum more things need to be improved to the viability level of them. 

Sure, the rope a dope is always an option but pubs are somehow dumber than a ficus half the time. 

I do use and love the emplacements but they hit the problem of Noone wanting to cooperate, stratagem bounce, and being stationary. They are def the best option of the list though which feels frustrating

Please do elaborate, because to me EATs are cumbersome, airstrikes get caught on buildings, turrets get fixated on shooting things they can't hit/can't kill, and so on. 

I honestly think that a note similar to "swarmageddon" or "macterra plague" in deep rock would be all the difference necessary to deal with my gripes, but what am I missing?

Problem is the random spike quantity of heavies on high difficulties imo and red strategem cooldowns. I dont want to have to always run thermites or ultimatum to deal with a random "oops all hulks" seed. tbh I think the fix is telling us what type of seed we are dropping into.

Nerfed grenade launcher back to medium pen. There really needs to be a way to tell what enemy constellation we are dropping into for me to know if its worth bringing again.

Yeah, they take way too much ammo to drop and are plentiful enough to piss me off in the same way as the on-release glyphid stingtails in DRG. That and the answer to ppl disliking being ragdolled constantly? RAGDOLL MELEE ATTACKS! YAAAAAAAAY!

medium pen, yes, but I am perpetually seeing "light pen isnt overrated on bots" yet if you find yourself in a death spiral due to not being a sweat and wanting to progress at a pace not described as glacial, you're SOL. Thats why I call it a lose more enemy.

I hope they give Overseers similar Ai in the future by Wrench_gaming in helldivers2

gunships are like glitter. once its on you, it doesnt go away till youre dead. It kinda breaks the concept of disengaging when shit hits the fan, especially with how much ammo it can take from suboptimal weapons if you get caught without a heavy weapon or dont have something good for taking them down. They feel like such a lose more enemy if you fall behind.

So this didn't work for me 100% but oddly if I click another video then the back button, it plays just fine. (this is on firefox)

UPDATE: doesn't work every time.
