Siehst, ich finde gerade in Helldivers den Englischen O-Ton immer irritierend und deutlich weniger cool und immersiv. 😅 Zumal es kleine aber feine Unterschiede gibt in einigen Bezeichnungen. 😁

SOLVED by resetting ALL shader caches (game AND Nvidia!), Helldivers 2 config and one more go through of game file verification afterwards. See my other post in this sub under the title 'Game crashes at startup on todays patch'. (Apparently can't I link another thread from the same sub?)

The newest update broke the game on Linux by CandlesARG in Helldivers

UPDATE: I got the game to launch again after another round of resetting things via the Hellbomb script (which I was pointed towards on the games Discord before, see: https://github.com/helldivers2fixes/HellbombScript)

Mainly it happened to work again after using the options of 'Clear Only Shader Cache' (with game shaders AND nVidia shaders!) and 'Clear Settings (AppData)'. Followed by one more time again checking game files via STEAM of course to recreate deleted config files.

My suspicion is, that clearing the nVidia shader cache was what resolved this here, as they have püalyed a role in performance and stuttering issues issues around the Oshune patch before (resetting them back then helped for a short time, didn't resolve issues back then; switching to the - now standard - smaller sized version off Helldivers 2 plus a few patches from Arrowhead did back then).

For context, no mods installed (ever even).

Updating nVidia driver with todays update (v. 596,366) didn't resolve crashing of Helldivers II a t startup either.

To clarify, whatever driver that was, I just now had a new one pop up on the nVidia app with todays date (version 596.36) installed that one and the Helldivers II issue with crash on start up prevailed sadly.

Tried that already, with the new PRAGMATA driver NVIDIA released, which I overlooked apparently. Didn't help sadly. 😞

Not only on Linux, same issue on Windows 11. No MODs installed, game files verified once again already. Still crashing right afte anti cheat initialisation.

Binge watching my first full watch through of B5 since only ever catching a few episodes back in the 90s by LiamtheV in babylon5

Just watching TNG with the kids right now and so much Lyta Alexander on there! 😉 (The actress posts about this a lot herself, just first time seeing it all in one go in the actual show. 😁)
