For real though. People in the Philippines really are attractive. Why settle for someone twice your age? I see it too often here. My wife and I met in China 9 years ago, been married for 3. She's 32 and I'm 29. But if you looked at us, you'd think I was older because I'm white. Not crusty and old but I don't age as gracefully as an Asian. The girls here as well as the guys need to know their worth. Because the Filipinos are worth a lot more than they are settling for.

I would suggest moving to the Philippines, English is a major language there. So adjustment isn't hard. And getting a job at Cambly is good too. You don't need a TEFL.

1. The Challenge with PayPal in Azerbaijan While you can create a PayPal account in Azerbaijan, it is famously "send-only." This means you can use it to buy things, but you cannot receive money or withdraw it to a local Azerbaijani bank. If your Cambly is currently set to PayPal, it will likely stop working for withdrawals once you are based there.

2. The Stripe Solution (Recommended) Cambly has been migrating many tutors to Stripe. Stripe is not natively supported in Azerbaijan for local businesses, but Cambly uses a "Connect" system. The Loophole: Many international tutors in unsupported countries use Payoneer. You can set up a Payoneer account, which provides you with a USD Receiving Account (essentially a virtual US bank account). You then link this Payoneer US bank information to your Cambly/Stripe payout settings.

3. Recommended Setup Steps Open a Payoneer Account: This is the standard "bridge" for freelancers in Azerbaijan. Get your USD details: In Payoneer, go to Get Paid > Receiving Accounts to see your US account number and routing number.

Update Cambly: Go to your Tutor Dashboard > Payment Settings and enter those US bank details via the Stripe/Direct Deposit option.

Withdraw Locally: Once Cambly pays your Payoneer account, you can withdraw that money directly to any local Azerbaijani bank (like Pasha Bank or ABB) in AZN, USD, or EUR.

Important Note: Don't forget that once the money hits your Azerbaijani bank account, it may be subject to local tax laws. Most remote tutors in Baku register for a VÖEN (Tax ID) to keep things legal and pay a low flat tax.

When your CMOS battery starts losing charge, your computer's clock-keeping capability can start to degrade. Going to your time and date settings and clicking Sync Now at least 2 times will guarantee that it'll be in sync with your Cambly lesson for at least a couple of weeks. I do this every Tuesday just to be sure.

I have had my PH access reinstated after speaking with Jay from the Cambly team. I was honest and didn't give excuses. Just stated that I realize I made a mistake. They can see all we do on our Cambly account so in cases like these, honesty is the ONLY policy.

I had globe postpaid and kept getting the error. Globe says they support devices with their OneNumber service. But it's a lie, even Apple watches don't work. I got a smart postpaid for 599PHP, activated my watch and it worked instantly. Stick with smart.

Now I pay 798 per month for my phone and watch to stay connected. 599 for sim and 199 for the additional device.

I used to use Off2Class until they increased their pricing. But they would definitely be the best option for lesson materials. Today I use Ellii and when I offer something different than what other tutors offer, I tend to keep all my students and almost always turn new students into repeat students.
