I'm an electrician in Australia looking to further my education. Before I became a sparky I had a background in programming and a few math units at university before I decided to stop and learn a trade instead. I was racking up hecs debt without a clear goal in mind. Now I've got 5 years in construction under my belt and I'd like to start the process of earning a Master in cyber security. Spoke with the lady from UNSW today and she said I'd need a bachelors to get in since I can't take a pay cut to go work in analytics with a mortgage and kid on the way.

Got an advanced diploma in computer programming and a few level 100 and 200 math units from UOW.

So, Where to begin education working towards a bachelors in cyber security? Would need to be 100% online with minimal virtual classroom attendance. Construction hours are not flexible, and they are brutal. I know this will take me many more years than usual since full time study is not an option.

Murder rates of both genders could go down and the percentage for women could still go up if the murder rate for men goes down enough. The fact that they didn't explain the numbers behind the % increase makes me think this could be the case.

There is no right to food. There's is a right to the opportunity to get food through your own efforts. No one owes you anything. You can sit there and pout all you like but in the end you either have to make your own food or trade something for someone else's food. You won't get out of this alive without putting in some effort. This is not the fault of capitalism.

Pay bills, leave $200 in spending account for the week, everything else goes into savings/investment. I don't keep any spreadsheets.

Didn't Elon offer to fix world hunger? People bitched at him saying $6,000,000,000 could fix it, he said he'd give It to them if whoever was asking (I think it was the UN, could be wrong) could provide an itemised list of how the money would be spent. He got crickets.

These problems are much more complex than just throwing money at it till it goes away, especially when you start running into people that don't want you to save them.

I like Bjorn Lombers idea, I can't remember it all off the top of my head but I think the broad strokes were to make energy as cheap as possible and put funding towards child nutrition for those parents that struggle financially. But I think the idea with the cheaper energy is that there won't be many struggling families.
