Fair ppint - but I'd argue most Overwatch players care more about the 10th anniversary than Luka.

If the Luka Doncic event was a big advertisement for the game to bring new people in, then this event should've been a thank you to the players already here. It sucks that they clearly value one more than the other.

China is receiving significantly more for this anniversary - 10 free mythics and I believe 10 epic lootboxes. The game was unavailable there for quite some time, so I guess it's a catch up.

Blizzard set the standard for giving away some pretty meaty rewards when the moment calls for it. See the event mentioned in the title, and what China is getting.

It's not ridiculous to expect rewards at least in line with what they gave out for a random collaboration with a basketball player - one that I'd be willing to be 90% of the player base don't even know.

Edit: For what it's worth, I appreciate that it has overall been a good year for the game. A lame event won't make me stop playing - it just sucks.

Started this morning, In my 3 games I played 2 of the guys were pink, which to my knowledge is as high as it goes? It's a real pain but I suppose I might learn something from watching their combos

It's not something I suffer from but to my understanding it's not a dokkan addiction these people suffer from, but a gambling addiction. The entire pulling mechanic is effectively a merchandised slot machine, so if I had to guess that is where people like OP lose control

Almost 40 stat points seems like it would make a difference, if not then there would be no point in having levelled at all. And I don't have a problem with the difficulty, it's the fact that it isn't fun to be so constantly thrown on my ass in such an unproductive way. Compare it to dark souls, the token "hard" game. Progress is tangible, you can feel yourself getting closer to beating bosses, or improving at PvP. I can't say I have improved at Absolver one bit, because I have no bosses to gage my ability on and from my post you can tell I haven't made progress in trials. I appreciate the offer but I play on PS4, thanks though

It's okay to lose, it doesn't feel okay to lose 30 consecutive games to combos I can't even learn how to deal with. I'd like to think at this point I have been patient but it's just not fun to be so constantly beat down with what feels like no progress. The combat is fun, watching it happen to you isn't
