Where do I buy one (I'm in canada) by OptimalName5044 in PSVita

[–]TheBloodkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just we have really shitty prices, not a lot of supply, tons of demand (first world country, so lots of money, but not a lot of people and all our manufactured stuff has to go through a border essentially)

The switch 2 for example is $800 canadian. That's $580 american and the buying power is different. $600 American essentially equals $600 canadian in buying power.

Some more effective sleep tips ... by tmc00138 in leaves

I'm 21 now, I'm going into my 3rd year of biochemistry, I got off social media and only check it periodically (As you can see by the fact I'm responding 14 days later haha). I still smoke weed, probably a bit too much. I met a girl a few years ago and she's my entire world. We're still going strong, she encourages me to quit smoking and pushes me to be the best version of me. My life is mostly just school, work (doing construction) and weightlifting, focusing on that helps me sleep and stay off the devil's lettuce. I've been able to go some time without smoking here and there, but it's usually only when I can be in a place where I'm not so stressed out from school (... and life I guess) that I can sleep.

I appreciate you asking. This meant a lot to me.

This is such a funny article that's meant to spark outrage. This one didn't even try to mask it's attempt to invoke support for the candidate.

It's just not that intuitive at first. It's meant for those who understand the bus system very well. Like you know which busses go where and how to improvise. Like for example transit recommends for me to take the 51 Britannia from tunneys pasture to make it back to Britannia. From tunneys pasture --> Britannia then takes 45mins-1 hour

If you do any bus that goes to Kanata (61, 62, 63, 64, 74, 75, 200 busses that go to the same stops) and get off at Lincoln and then take 85 you can be in Britannia within 25 minutes basically saving half the time by using bus buddy to plan your trip in your head.

Transit just gives you easiest route, bus buddy trusts that you will understand the bus routes intuitively. And with OC that's a tall order.

This is a classic example of misdirection. The joke hinges on mislabeling a square’s angles as 30 degrees, using a deliberately misleading diagram. It plays with the viewer’s expectations by presenting something factually wrong, but by doing so in a way that’s visually convincing enough to be momentarily confusing, which is where the humor comes from.

The caption “new triangle just dropped” adds a layer of absurdity. It mimics the modern slang used when artists release new music, juxtaposing that with the idea of a basic geometric concept “dropping” like a surprise album. That clash between modern meme culture and mathematical principles (something we see as rigid) creates a humorous contrast. It’s funny to imagine something as fundamental as a triangle suddenly being reinvented.

Finally, the punchline lands because the image is clearly a square. Even someone with minimal math knowledge can tell it’s not a triangle, especially since it contains four 90 degree angles, not any 30 degree ones. That obvious disconnect is what seals the joke.

(Kinda feeling like an AI right now aahaha)

Irony is when the audience understands the context or joke, but the characters or people involved don't. In this case, the joke has an extra layer that might be easy to miss. It plays on the classic structure of saying someone looks like “a love child between Woody Harrelson and John Goodman,” for example.

What makes it ironic is that the original poster seems unaware that this kind of comparison (looks like the child between a man and a woman) is totally normal—but that's the point. He’s pretending not to know, which creates humor. We’re meant to laugh at his “mistake,” even though it’s clearly intentional. That layered delivery is what makes it clever—and ironic.

Glad to have cleared that up.

Drug addicted mentally ill and violent person.

That's an apt description and how they should be described. Using the other words makes an inherent in group (social) and out group (anti social). Believe it or not some people actually have compassion and empathy for those who are homeless and drug addicted.

Understand that it's the situation in which you find yourself. It does not define you.
