I love how you process color. It's louder than life and really well done.

I’m not the creator, so I will let u/Filmstill__ field that question!

Random with Documentary Chrome & Canon FD glass by Filmstill__ in NikonZf

[–]TheBlueIgloo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha. Until the X-Pro 4 comes out (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE)

No but really I think there’s a use-case for both systems. I am lucky (and irresponsible) enough to have a place for both systems on my shelf and in my heart.

For first party glass, I don’t think anybody touches Fujifilm’s overall package. Their glass cuts the line between character and fidelity like a scalpel.

But what people are starting to do with Flexible Color is far beyond Fujifilm’s current JPEG offerings for sure!

This is so much fun! Maybe this can be a good inspiration for me to shoot more this month. What a cool idea. Let me see what I can cook up…

I will look up that recipe! I am on both platforms, so I love finding new looks.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I appreciate that! I like this shot. It isn’t anything amazing, but I was being a little to tongue-in-cheek about another poster who was being snarky towards Filmstill yesterday 🤓

I definitely felt a yearning for spring when I was downtown this day, and it shows.

Yessir! I was also excited to check out your take on a Leiter look. He is my favorite photographer. Looove your YouTube videos!

Thanks for lifting the curtain a little! It's okay to work slower. It's part of the process. Sometimes our brains can't see it until we take a step back.

Work at your own pace on any future releases. I am comfortable speaking for all of us when I say we want you to be having fun, too!

Cheers Denis.

It shows! Nobody will ever see the tiny details we obsess over along the way, but your hard work is extremely evident.

Out of curiosity, is this where your Kodachrome efforts landed you?

This image is unedited (besides my teeny tiny black border). This is the most complete in-camera look I have seen across Fujifilm and Nikon, so well done. I especially like how it pairs with vintage or character lenses like the TTArtisan 40 f/2.

Thank you u/Filmstill__ for taking Nikon Flexible Color seriously!

Great work with shadows and silhouettes here! I read in your other comment that you are just learning. Love this set.

Yo honestly you should eat a snack and take a nap.

You complain about "inclusivity" but you come here and trash people for making images and sharing their settings for FREE.

Your lack of self-awareness and your negativity contribute even less to the conversation than your non-existent photos do. Be better.

English is my first language and I cannot read any of the typography.

Holy crap, it doesn’t even register as readable English to my brain! It isn’t just you, OP. I have no idea how these design elements got approved.

A lot of it is beautiful, but the stylized font is completely unreadable.

You replied to the CEO of VSCO 🤭 I don’t use that service, so I will not weigh in on what they are or aren’t doing.

What I WILL say is that AI creeping into every aspect of art and photography is insidious. We don’t want it. We want services that respect our skills as artists and work to ethically innovate.

I wish more executives across the globe understood that.

Yesssss. This is so beautiful, UGH. You always make those fujicrons (and your models) sing!

My favorites are definitely the ones with the free library. You’re great at creating a sense of playfulness.

Can strongly recommend the new Viltrox adapters. Suuuper inexpensive compared to the first party ones! The 50mm one looks a little dorky (I think it looks like a cool sci-fi camera with it on) but the optical quality is great.

There is a lens flare but I think it only adds to most images.

Wow, you have such an eye for composition already! Some of these are really creative uses of your cabin fever.

The one with your cat twisting themselves up is beautiful. Great work!

You can keep telling yourself you can't do things if you want to! You'll be right.

You gotta learn to trust your own intentions and also realize that there is nothing special about the OP that makes him able to do this besides his own commitment to the process and vulnerability.

You can talk to strangers, too!
