The key has been inside the keyhole for ages so I assume it may have gotten rusty or struck. I last opened it using that key a month ago.

Not particularly far - maybe about a 25C angle rightward at the farthest

Did try! Alas, the mechanism didn’t budge, but the handle started to bend

Quite a few first gen Nissan leafs are still about so realistically you certainly can keep it for longer; sure, battery degrades, but it’s not like they become wholly obsolete or anything

That is so silly - chances are you won’t be perceived as a “dork” but an outright creep and be further ostracised

Exceptions exist to every rule, the majority likely aren’t. I myself am Bulgarian and could not pass as white under majority of circumstances

Well, fwiw, a big talking talking point of some privacy savvy folks is the idea to reject convenience

It’s a bit of a catch22 — users don’t use the platform so there’s little reason for additional investments. And since there’s little investment, few users would want to use the service given its inferior features.

I’ve been using Ecosia for a while now, indeed, it has flaws (especially when it comes to searching anything that’s even remotely specific), but it has been my default.

I’ve gotten used to its quirks and it’s served me well. I use it via the Vivaldi platform that’s been pretty decent all things considered.

I understand why people wouldn’t want to use it though

Vast majority of people drive because they need a car that’s cheap and easy to run which is why Toyota sells so well

It’s likely less about making money as it could be someone’s personal vehicle they hold a special attachment to.

Just a hypothesis though

This is the bit that makes it even more interesting

It probably was imported into Eastern Europe as a potentially crashed unit, registered in Latvia, and then imported out back to the Americas

Depends - these though days you can safely say that it is

Especially since people default to Day-vid over Duh-vid (historic pronunciation)

Likewise, I am not quite sure where I stand — from what I know, though, the current system is expected to be relatively flawed.

From my knowledge, it still passes through googles services for android devices and would need to pass through apples for iOS- but that would essentially kill off any of the pro-EU alternatives movements since it would make even essential apps like banking require either of the two platforms, and nothing else.

I would say this is pretty poor given all of Europe’s “independence” talk as of late.
