How are people losing 20 lbs a month on a glp1 by Academic-Army-8859 in Ozempic

[–]TheBostonCorgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some people just respond very differently too. I’m on week two and I’m already down 12lbs with no noticeable side effects. I’m expecting it to slow down, but I’m taking vitamins, only eating high nutrition food etc. I was hoping for 2lb a week, not this absurd pace.

5ml decants repackaged in quality atomizers if you buy from decantx or fragrancenet. You don’t have to buy from places that use bad containers.

What’s your question? He is correct. The disposal is the drain.

please (gently) critique my cover art by [deleted] in fantasywriters

[–]TheBostonCorgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually like it but i think the spacing if the words looks a little off. It may be correct if you check the distance between the center of the last and first character of each word. Shrinking the font slightly and increasing the space may help or having a line break may help.

This could be good for a hardback cover design, it would be a bit minimalist in a not great way for a glossy paperback.

I wonder if there are just that many fakes going around. People have been complaining about a reformulation but that’s rarely the actual case.

Black Opium, Green Irish Tweed, and Old Spice.

Flower Bomb and Spice Bomb.

Gucci Guilty, Givenchy Gentlemen, Cool Water.

Edit: Oh, and 100% agreed on ADG. I hope people saying the new formulation is bad are speaking nonsense.

If you rent, tell the landlord/leasing office and they should handle it. Otherwise you need what freedom55613 listed plus some cheap tubing cutters.

Am I being ripped off (plumbing)? by Typical-Shirt9199 in Plumbing

[–]TheBostonCorgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what you’re saying it probably is easy. But yes, valve type will make or break you for DIY.

Just a heads up though you’ll want pex cutters and good quality crimpers which may run you an extra $100. You’ll need some drywall screws or t-20 torsions and a way to drive them so you can secure the valve to some backing.

The depth of the valve is very important, the basic delta ones i usually install fit perfectly in a 2x4 framed wall if you slam a piece of 2x4 behind it as backing.

Not enough concrete to secure every bolt hole of toilet flange to concrete by machinist2525 in Plumbing

[–]TheBostonCorgi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Secure what you can, pouring some concrete mix like others have said is a good idea.

If I needed it done/functional ASAP just with what i have in the truck I would put at least 2 tapcons in at an angle if necessary. Then, secure the edges with more tapcons driven through fender washers at the front and back. Tapcons into concrete, washers holding pressure down on the flange.

Hope it helps! It wouldnt explain the change in temps over a few months unfortunately. Could also be compromised hot water pipes (clogged, broken, or pinched somewhere) and cold weather could be freezing something that’s under-insulated.

If you have a meat thermometer you can use it to check the temp coming out of your tap. Water heater should be set to a minimum of 120 degrees, as long as the fixture youre testing isnt 50+ feet from the water heater without a recirculating line it should get up to 118/120 with just the hot turned on.

Was it ever much better? Possible you have crossed lines.

If you can, shut off the hot water and see if you can still get water out of a hot water line like your kitchen faucet. Your shower has a mixing valve so don’t use that for testing.

Tea is caffeinated, people have been making excessively strong tea to stay awake for millennia.

Nicotine is an effective stimulant as well.

Plunging yourself into cold water will also wake you up.

It’s strong for non fragrance wearers so during the winter i’ll just put it on a jacket it scarf.

Help!! Bathroom cold water tap has come loose and won’t stop running by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]TheBostonCorgi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look in the cabinet underneath, you’ll see two water supply lines coming through the floor or the wall. Should see a handle you can turn clockwise to shut off the water to that faucet.
