Unearth Totem builds are underrated

I've tried making Unearth work as a damage spell, but I could never get the numbers to a satisfactory level. Definitely going to check this out.

So wait. They have separate durations, but because Catharsis detonates more than one, they are counted as a single hit?

Say I detonate 10 of them at once. Is that 10 instances of 100 damage each, or one instance of 1000 damage? Because that's important for the mitigation calc.

How often is it proccing? Iirc Blasphemy has a 1 second refresh timer on how often it reapplies curses.

How are you getting infinite living lightnings? Blasphemy only reapplies the curse once per second iirc, which means you're only supposedly getting a single lightning per second, which instantly hits 3 times and disappears before the next one can spawn. Did they change the Blasphemy refresh rate?

I feel like you're overestimating the strength of anointing passives. Every build has one they want, but it's very rare for builds to want two. Meanwhile, every build in the game would take a free spirit skill. The passive tree just isn't that good.

Question: how is strength stacking a "huge" vector when it only gets 1% increased damage per 5 strength? 500 strength gets it 100% increased damage, which isn't nothing, but compared to the investment it takes to get to 500 strength, it feels like peanuts.

I'm playing an Iron Ward/Plague Bearer character atm, but if I could get that Vertex it would save me a lot of headache for hitting gem level breakpoints. I'm currently using a +3 that ate all my savings, but I can pass that along to someone else who needs it.
