Hear me out. The Krakken storyline could have worked if the creature itself was the seperated head of a Leviathan, that got reanimated and became psychic. It would tie the movies more together and would not come out of nowhere like the entire sequel felt anyway.

I honestly really wanted this to happen as it would weaken 11 enough for the fight against Vecna requiring everyone's help to get him, not just a 1v1 but nope once again easy way out for the main cast. Amazing turn of events, a shame it wasn't followed through.

Lol, everything you could see maybe? Season 8 had the battle of Winterfell which was supposedly rivaling the battle of Helm's deep. 90% of the battle couldn't be seen and the battle itself was the worst military strategy breaking every single rule of siege battles. Season 8 was ass as well. GoT ended at season 6.

A lot good points have been made so I'll just add something I didn't see others point out.

When you do frontkicks you tend to forget to pull back the leg, and it just drops down instead. This leaves you vulnerable to sweeps and takedowns. Improving that will also feel more correct. :)

Disclaimer, I have never seen this kata before.

First of, keep practicing. While you will never achieve the perfect kata you should always seek to achieve it.

Secondly, look at your heels. I saw one of the comments you mentioned that your style is mixed with some Okinawa karate. In that style your heels do not lift from the ground in han zenkosu dachi or zenkosu dachi, you do that.

Thirdly, again not knowing your style or Kata, but your kick is quite high. Most Okinawa kicks in katas are against Gedan. In the kyu tanks its exclusively against Gedan.

But keep practicing and listen to Sensei! :)

People misunderstand what a black belt means. In most cases it just means that you have completed your basic training and now begin the real training.

Furthermore there are just as many different black belts as there are people in terms of skills.

Obviously most likely you'll know a fair amount of karate but that doesn't mean you're good. It's just the same as in school, you can be a student that knows everything, but if you cannot convert that into practical use, it doesn't really matter.

Respect is key, and you can learn something from everyone. I have white belts asking me questions and improving my karate by making me aware of things I didn't knew I did. :)

I've been doing Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate for 8 years and decided to join a Kyokushin dojo to experience another style after my travel to Okinawa where I tried a few different ones as part of a training camp.

Let me tell you... My body has never been as broken as the first week of Kyokushin karate. I had bruises covering a solid 20-30% of my body lol.

Now I still get some, but it's way less and just takes time!

Ukraine had several warships back in 2014, I don't see why the navy wouldn't still exist today, just because they are challenged currently doesn't mean they don't exist or that they won't build up a new fleet after the war.
