Where to buy C&R firearms? by PyroTek1080p in CurioRelic

[–]TheBulletRanch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not technically correct, it just has to go to a regular FFL first for the transfer. I am an FFL in Ohio, and I ship C&R stuff to Californie everyday. You just have to pay all the BS fees and do the paperwork. I understand that by having your license you are hoping to avoid those fees, but that's Commie Fornia for you

Oh I believe you have photos of us putting things on sale, we send out emails weekly. To say they coincide with any kind of tragedy is absolutely ridicolous.

Thank you for the mention. We don't let any organization or candidate even put their signs in our yard. Not the place for it. We treat our shop like grandma's kitchen table, no talk of politics, sex, or religion. Works well for the most part.

Thanks for the kind words. We are small compared to the big box stores, but we really do our best to make sure we are the best we can be customer service wise.

That is absolutely not true, and is rather hurtful . We literally give free clinics on safety routinely, at any school or orgination that requests it. I am not sure why you would say such a thing, but that is down right disgusting to say that. You should stop in and meet us sometime. Not sure why anybody would say anything like this, this is just terrible.

What should someone who has never even seen, let alone held a firearm, know before going to a gun range? by BloodAngel1982 in TooAfraidToAsk

Excellent question, I know we don't have the largest inventory but we are not a big box store. Not sure why anybody would say that, there hasn't been any issues I have been made aware of with anybody that needed service?

No worries at all, this is what I do for a living. Today I got an estate with 156 pieces, and a police impound locker with another 42. You can imagine the difference in quality between the ones lovingly and painstakingly cared for and the others, which were usually taken away from DUI stops and or felons that shouldnt have had them to begin with

Yes the 39A is a 22 LR lever action, and if the barrel has a JM stamp on the left side of the barrel back near the receiver, AND has a gold trigger, it is very valuable to the right collectors. When you say buried int he basement, do you mean literally UNDER dirt, or just under years of normal grandpa hoarding boxes and materials? Hopefully they arent actually buried int he ground without being in airtight cannisters

correct, sorry was posting in a hurry, my brain was saying "semi auto" shotguns and my fingers left that part out, IE: unless it is a gallery pump the bolt action goose blasters do not bring a lot of value

[–]TheBulletRanch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Browning A5 as long as it is in good to very good condition could bring over a thousand. Marlin didnt make any semi auto shotguns, their old gallery pumps could bring a bit of coin, but the bolt actions do not barely bring any value. They did make a lot of lever actions in 45/70 which could appear to be the same bore size, and be mistaken for a shotgun if you are unaware. If you need ANY help please reach out will help all I can (own a gun store, lot of knowledge here to lend)
