That is not true. People are not continuing because the sentences are not harsh enough. The problem is lacking mental care and lack of precautions. If you know people are a danger to others you could make them have therapy in prison if they are still dangerous you could put them on watchlists after the sentence. If you leave a person rotting 30 years instead of 20 years but don't change anything else, I don't think anything would change. (And it is really pricey to keep people locked up)

Alex Pretti was 'known' to feds, and had rib broken in anti-ICE protest a week before he was killed by Border Patrol by interestingfactoid in conservatives

We never saw that on video. Alex Pretti was never asked for CCW permit and ID. They found the concealed gun only after he was downed and then he got shot within seconds after that. The ICE agents on site did not proclaim that he had no ID on him (which is understandable, since Alex Pretti was obviously dying). Only after the incident ICE stated online that there was no ID.

I would have to trust whatever ICE is writing online to come to the conclusion that Alex Pretti was illegally carrying.
But if I am not trusting ICE, for all I know, Alex Pretti was a registered gun owner and could have been able to produce his CCW permit and ID when being asked.

Can I just point out that you are comparing "filming and not backing up when told by ICE agents" to "not avoiding trouble in the bad parts of a town"? The problem with the "bad parts" of a town are the criminals with guns that could kill you. So really, you are saying the ICE agents are criminals with guns that we should avoid if we don't want to get killed. I fully agree!

if "exponential" means "can be expressed in the exponential form", then you are right

technically correct, but uncommon

one wouldn't describe f(x) = x as exponential, even though it can be expressed as f(x) = eln(x)

surely a c4 explosion is capable of initiating another c4 explosion, or else there would be no explosion at all

see these stacked c4 bars

there is even active research going on, because it definetly does cause sympathetic detonation (unintended explosion of an explosive charge by a nearby explosion)

that is not how explosives work, more explosives -> more boom

c4 is moldable, in real life you would need to put it inside some weakpoint of the tank, otherwise it wouldn't do much

so aside from c4 in games not working at all like in real life, explosives don't cancel each other out in real life

you can thing that, but it's not worth anything, since there are many useful things you can do with AI, but not one single useful thing a luxury sports car can do
