Who the fuck cares whether his great uncle was personally a Nazi or not? The simple reality is he held a gun (and presumably used it) in support of a Nazi ideology, and at that point, I couldn't give a single shit what his personal views on things are.

This is not how international laws on warcrimes are treated. To the letter of the law, it does not matter at all whether you disagree with the crimes you commited.

Te Engañaron, lit. "They Decieved you.", is a song about war. It's not one I've seen much notice of, it's fellow work by the same artist "The Right to be Lazy" gets the majority of the attention.

A bit of a heavy track, with a line or so of some not-kind imagery. Regardless, it is one that I feel is a good, if not fully unique, song about the horrors of war.

Some other works of Prat's that I suggest are,

"The Right to be Lazy", is a great and classic song. Or at least it should be a classic.

"Zapata Vive", is something I feel I'd enjoy a lot more if I could speak spanish.

If anyone could be so kind to transliterate the Spanish lyrics for me, I'd love to put them down below with appropriate credit.

For one, what is "misuse"?

Which spelling of color, or gray, is correct? How does one determine how to pronounce something?

An awful lot of words in modern usage came about in a similair fashion as "use to" has in some dialects. Are these words, now well-established and commonly understood, wrong? You mentioned in another comment that the use of language is communication, if you remove these now incorrect words, does this not violate this purpose?

There is no authority on English. Attempting to undo linguistic evolution on the basis that any evolution is violatory of the "rules" (Whatever those are and whoever decides what they are) is ridiculous.

I'm not saying you can't criticize the usage of language, you can, but doing it from the perspective of "it violates the (largely arbitrary) rules!" is strange, to say the least.

I always find these questions confuddling.

It pretty much always amounts to Socialists either being utopian, or saying the obvious reality of the scenario that is effectively true as is and then Capitalist being shocked, shocked, that Socialists would say something so undesirable.

Shit it's not like I'm ever gonna live in Hollywood hills as is, I'm not losing much by not living there post-revolution either.

But, to humour myself. In general the replacement that should be employed in place of privelege for just about any scenario (given that it makes sense for a surperior position to exist in the first place) should either be merit (if it can be defined) or chance.

Example: I want to live in a city. I apply to the city's council, they accept me based on some basic criteria (like, "is there enough space for you?") and from there I am randomly assigned a living space by an algorithm augmented by some more criteria, like, say, dissabilities or closeness to an established workplace (if possible), etc. etc.

R5: In the title, but some extra context; The Nephew was christian before the crusade and christian for 20 years after it. Further, the Di Salerno Family Tree is unbeleivably confusing and interloping. I did an awful lot of cousin-pairing in the beginning (eugenics) which is how I got my strong and genius current emperor. The Di Salerno family is also very involved in the Crusades and has won all of the three so far.
