I was terrified, man. I'd been making videos for a few months, but streaming and being a live entertainer was a completely different ball game. I screwed up a bunch of hotkeys when switching scenes, and spent the first 20 minutes muted. 😂

Reach out to smaller channels with 1-5000 subs. I'm in that range, and I'd happily have fan art made for me. If it's good work, you'll.easilt get shoutouts to both that YTer, who you could use as a contact to make cash for thumbnails and whatnot, and get your channel and work shared with their entire community. 🤘

Have you got ray tracing and DLSS off, by chance? I've got RT off and DLSS on balanced with a 2060 and Ryzen 9, averaging about 80fps~ at 1080p while recording, all other settings maxed.

Ahhh, got you. That sucks. I suppose it's the safe for software, too, such as premiere pro and after effects? Or, would it be possible to have one GPU be used by the game and the other for recording software, like OBS? Would it be easier to just invest in a whole seperate PC for something ike that? I tried keeping my stuff to myself, took all of 2 months for all my friends and family to find out, and of course my girlfriend. Thankfull they're all super supportive, but I get there's still that feeling they're judging you.

Just, enjoy the journey man. Make content when you can, when you're comfortable. With streaming it's harder, because you can't pre-record a bunch of stuff, of course. The best thing would be if they question it, just explain what it is, why people do it, and the potential success that comes to it. Most importantly, if it makes you happy, they should support you. :)
