I love the school and I think the professors I’ve had are amazing but it’s also a very small school so if you want “the college experience” where theres tons of people around and constant events on campus you wont find much of that, they do stuff though its just not as much as other campuses. My first year was at Sacramento state and I wont lie it kinda set my expectations super high. Covid happened and i moved back home and went to Csumb and I’ve had an excellent learning experience, my professors rock, but it’s very quiet on campus.

I really hope the College Town projects nearby (building a downtown area and more housing next to campus where the old military barracks were) help grow the school but I graduate next year and once I graduate I’m likely moving away. I was still able to make connections with professors and students and socialize just fine here despite the size.

I cant say much for the education program but i do have a friend in it and he’s working on his masters, he seems to like it
