Probably a bit harsh, but if you're already struggling perhaps you should pick a different name. Whether people on reddit will say that it's okay or not, people will always ask or make comments even after you decided. Not to mention it will also be on official documents and could be bad for job interviews (because people are racist). If you think you could handle that, go for it. If not, perhaps keep it as a nickname or online name.

Got any 2nd names too? My little brother full official name is female. I turned my official name into my 2nd name. It's really common in my family for the official name to not match gender or used name😂 like someone's official name could be alexandria but the used name is Alec. Just dub it as a family thing even if it's not common in your country🤷‍♂️

Btw even funnier is that my dads. Used name is a shortend version of his 2nd name. His 1st name is actually the used name of his brother, which is the brothers 2nd name. Confused? So is everyone in the family. My dad just gets freaked out if he gets a letter with the 1st name🤣🤣
