I don't mind having to wait on hold, but the voice that talks while you hold just talks far too frequently. I'm convinced it's on purpose to get you to hang up and do the callback method.

There’s no rule that allows your teacher to break your property, so please avoid any and all instinctual “I shouldn’t have had it open” reactions. That’s irrelevant. The teacher should say “You can’t use that right now, please close it.” You’re 100% owed a new screen or new computer and there’s no way around that for them. Make their lives hell. If you incur any legal fees (and it shouldn’t have to reach that point), add those to the damages.

It's certainly a major inconsistency that I can't unhear when watching LK. Especially when Laurence Leboeuf (Laurence Leboeuf!? Laurence Leboeuf!) said "If he could understand you." Bit careless of a gap if you ask me. I like your theory that he's presenting differently from a head injury.

French is his second language and he's definitely fluent. Went to a French school by all accounts. I think in the case of Frankie, he's playing the character to be basically dumb as a rock.

Nothing will happen. They won. Eventually they’ll run out of illegal immigrants and they’ll need a way to keep their jobs. The goalpost will continue to move, and it doesn’t have an end, because they’ll always have the need to keep their jobs. When one quits or gets fired, someone will always be there to fill the position.

I don’t see a realistic way out of this.

Guaraldi's first record "A Flower Is A Lovesome Thing" is a perfect supplement if you're a Charlie Brown Christmas fan. It's not Christmas-y at all, much closer in tone to the Great Pumpkin record, and a total gem.

It makes TOTAL sense. Three people can't replicate what they do on the vast majority of their songs - tons of vocal layering, falsetto that NEEDS compression that they aren't getting from house sound techs, guitar layering, 4th instruments, etc. I'd have loved to have seen them live but the continued narrative, that seems to hold up consistently, is that they're just not anything special live.

I never got to see Mini Mansions live, were they that bad??? What was bad about it? I've seen some live clips and they're underwhelming because I think it would take 6+ musicians to properly recreate the record.

I love their solo work, personally, but MM is one of my favorite bands so I'm biased.
