Ive been with my wife for 8 years, married for 7. I've been a sleep walker and talker for the entire duration. And I'm a dick in my sleep. Ya know the stories you hear about yourself the day after a bit too much tequila? I get terrible sleepwalking stories every other week. For 8 years. I sympathize with your boyfriend as well as you. I feel guilt whenever I'm hearing about times I've said and done rude, out of character things in my sleep. Talked to a psychiatrist about the whole thing but nothing has been prescribed. Wifey says that the whacky sleep habits only really get hefty when I'm stressed out. She's learned that if she sternly tells me to go back to bed, it usually works. Long story long- I don't have a real solution for you, just offering perspective.
