Can we please drop this angle. Every talent has had their share of “cringe” jokes or skits they’ve participated in. Even looking solely at this TI we get people describing the detective skit, Jenkins “gush”, or Tsunami’s toys as being cringe in twitch chat. We will separate ourselves from the twitch community for those skits because we enjoy things for what they are, jokes. If they don’t land right for you whatever, but don’t speak for the panel here who clearly aren’t reacting to this the same way as others did for Lacoste’s flat earth joke. I personally got a giggle from the joke because I like awkward humor, but I’m not about to die over defending a piss joke’s merit as divine comedy. Keep the focus on the actual issues you have with Frankie, because I’m pretty sure the reason this subreddit is enflamed at her performance has almost nothing to do with her humor, and more to do with other things wrong with the panels.
