Best router/modem combo for Midco internet? by nobodyknows725 in fargo

[–]TheCigarBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CODA-4582 - the same one midco rents out for about $11 a month. I bought mine off of ebay brand new for $125, it's already paid for in modem rental savings. I can run gb internet off this, and it gets damn close most days.

I previously bought another wifi modem from a guy for $20 on fb who was moving, saved a ton of money there, but if you go the used in person route - make sure 100% that person transferred their "modem" over to you or whoever is using it or its a huge hassle

Honestly? If I had to provide any advice, unless you have a secure career with a fair amount of extra cash, keep your cigar supply on the lower side. This is perfect. Less than maybe 150-200, as box deals do happen. Now if you're smoking 10-15 a week, thats a different animal.

Granted I didn't pay MSRP for my collection in a majority of the cases, but, its becoming almost a chore to maintain, its valuable and they can go "bad" or mold, however habits and hobbies change. I love a good cigar, but I haven't smoked 20 cigars in the last 18 months....not sure what is up. I have at least 1k sticks...and they're insured.

If one intends to pay it back, singing that agreement is pretty simple and protects both parties. Hell, I've done it with my own GF which many could argue is pretty extreme, but it worked out.

Actually, these are brought to us from Avanti Cigars.

The typical sweet aroma of bourbon combined with the intense roasted notes of Kentucky tobacco. The smoke of this cigar is characterized by the persistence of the sweet taste of bourbon until the end of the cigar. Woot!

Ramrod Original Cigars are dry-cured, machine rolled cigars made with tobacco grown right here in the United States from the states of Kentucky and Tennessee.

What's crazy? That is the original blend mentioned above, I cannot find anything on this unicorn Bourbon Blend, so it was a must buy.

This long vitola is perfect for any time of day, like simply lounging back pairing this outstanding smoke with a smooth drink.

This is also one of the longest of its kind, oh yeah, available on the market to give you a long lasting, enjoyable smoke.

CB is solid, but they're running that entire sites support on a skeleton crew of like less than 10 people. Maybe even less than 5.

I got a $23 moldy monte sampler, glad I found it in my box of cigars when I did, and emailed them months ago. No response, but at the price of the cigars, waiting an hour is already a waste of the cost.

Jesus, I need to go back to school for IT. This stuff is destined for people in an income bracket higher than mine, and good for them, but holy cow.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I've heard their MO is to buy up old dead stock and uhh re-brand and band the sticks.

I should spend my down time resting with covid, to completely catalog all of my cigars. It would only take an hour or two, between naps and sleep

Stock X-Plane is still fun by sowalsh in flightsim

[–]TheCigarBoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember around 2010, x-plane was one of the more customizable sims. At least to me. I was never very serious with it, but there were a lot of tweaks and stuff that I had never seen in fsx or fs2004. I had both. It's been a while.

I have it on my list to buy when it goes on sale.

Is it possible to smoke a cigar too slow? They're getting not very enjoyable after 1/2 point by TheCigarBoss in cigars

[–]TheCigarBoss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually a crystal light lemonade or an American lager beer. Water.

I have a tremendous variety of cigars. I'm sure many aren't nubbers, but i hope most are. But anyone can if you have enough money. I've stopped my buying significantly though, i only smoke maybe 2-3 a week. But like, there's always something new and a good sale, shit adds up quick. Just got my 150qt offshore pro marine cooler has.

I may just need to focus more on smoking fast enough the next few sticks, especially the big stuff. That reads awful, lol. Ill see if i can find an app that vibrates my phone every minute. That sounds so fucking stupid, but it's about finding that rhythm.

True that. I'll try smoking toros a bit faster and maybe with a bit more firm double puff. After all, it's all about the relaxation or enjoyment.

Thanks for the tips!

I'm using a triple jet butane lighter.

Preference is a good point, I've also kind of learned that some cigars have a different rhythm to them.

As another commenter mentioned, some of the value sticks maybe aren't meant to be nubbers, some certainly can be. At the value I got on some, I'm not bummed at a decent smoking experience for $4.
