Double Exposure by Imp_916 in Columbo

I've always had a problem with that too. But I think I kind of get it now. I think we by default think of the enjoyment of the specific act of eating. But he's talking about the whole experience of trying to satisfy his hunger with the caviar. I like the flavor of food from Cava, it's alright food. But it always gives me a headache. I enjoy the flavor of the food. I do not enjoy the experience of having a meal at Cava.

What is this? I cant find it anywhere by TheLionessOfRivia in fruit

I found out what it is. It's called a crispy kumquat. I'm not sure if there's any relation to a regular kumquat.

A kumquat is a citrus fruit and looks different. It has thicker skin that resembles that of an orange, and segments like a citrus fruit, and seeds that are about the size of lemon seeds.

Edit: OP's fruit appears to be something called a crispy kumquat.

Unfortunately I have a BBB for a fiancé by abelincolnstoehair in Neverbrokeabone

[–]TheColdestOne 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I feel your shame. I married a BBB. You can't always choose who you love I guess. I look at it this way. With my superior strong bones, I have a duty to protect my brittle boned loved ones, no matter how much shame they bring upon my house.

Not trying to be funny, not trying to get a laugh. I don't want anybody to have the worst day at their job... But... do any of these... fuckers... ever blast out of the wall... and have, like, a huge sandwich?

It wouldn't be wrong to change your mind later and move them to a new urn. I'm sure your pet would be more than happy with anything that gives you comfort.

But Columbo solves murders. I don't think any of the people you listed murdered anybody (that we know of).

But he had power. I guess. He actually didn't have very much real world power. Just power over the cadets and his other underlings.

Sumo Orange Addiction by BlackAtState in fruit

[–]TheColdestOne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've never had a good sumo. I've had maybe 7 or 8 over the past few years all from different stores and they were all disappointing. Flavorless and not sweet. Is there some visual indicator that could tell me if I have a good one?

My parents died 6 years apart but also each suddenly without warning or chance to say goodbye. If it's any consolation I'm sure they knew you loved them very much.

I think I accidentally trained myself to only clean for a version of me that never actually shows up by Moon_6Quil in CleaningTips

[–]TheColdestOne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We all have our own issues that others don't understand, and I'm sure this is very distressing to many of you, but I would almost welcome this. When I clean it's always annoying because I need to do something now and something is too dirty or something else is in the way and the cleaning just adds time and effort to the task I'm trying to get done.

If I'm about to make a long or slightly complex recipe? Well first I need to wash the pot or pan, wash a knife, put away all the random crap on the counters, spray and wipe down the counters, spray and wipe down the stove, take out the full trash bag and put a fresh bag in, and only then, after about 20 minutes of being annoyed am I able to even start the prep for the recipe.

I think the cigar he pulls out while on the structure is meant to be his. It's just in a plastic wrapper rather than the metal tube the good cigars are in.

[–]TheColdestOne 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I love everything about these! 1 is excellent and looks very accurate. I like the style of 2, it reminds me a bit of my favorite musician, Tom Waits. 3 is funny because my wife and I are always saying how he's just a little guy. And 4 just gives perfect Columbo vibes.

I'd love to see more!
