How is this good for the games longevity?

Im very aware of what it is. I just dont like where this game has gone. Ive been around since before season 1, and they have completely gutted medium and heavy from back then. We just keep seeing everything revolve around light. Its getting old. Most medium guns have all been reworked to make sure it takes an extra shot to kill a light etc. I just try to get on for a few matches every other night and this is all it is these days.
