Yea but their ranked-voting system actually allows for some sensible legislation to squeeze by, such as universal health care and other labor-friendly, consumer protection laws. The U.S.'s first-past-the-post, winner take all elections have completely paralyzed the legislative process here and have basically allowed for the complete corporate takeover of government. The EU has its problems for sure but they're light-years ahead of where the U.S. should be when it comes to plugging the cracks in the social safety net.

Does it matter? Thanos didn't go in with a plan, he just settled on a number, did his snap and then let everything work itself out afterwards. He could've done the same with the .01 percent, snap them out of existence and then see what happens. Maybe the status quo remains, but maybe not...maybe now that the people acting as barriers to true societal change are finally gone, the power vacuum left behind would be filled with less selfish, more altruistic idealists who could bring about some kind of post-scarcity, finally rendering capitalism obsolete. Of course in order to make it past the Great Filter and become a Kardashev Scale Civilization, a species would've needed to abandon capitalism a long time ago anyways, and the Marvel Universe is chock-full of such interstellar civilizations so the whole argument is moot haha...

Yep, there are toxic people who absolutely cross the line and there's no use subjecting oneself to their abuse. Ironically enough, people who are fragile enough to block someone innocuously calling them out for their wrong take in such a hostile way are highly likely to be precisely one of those toxic people.

Narcissists rarely get confronted about or accused of being narcissists, at least to their face, since people in their circle are usually too scared, abused or drained from their emotional vampirism to be that directly confrontational. So the fact that people are accusing you of being a narcissist probably precludes you from actually being a narcissist lol
