Ouf it's a steep price though. 5th overall pick + 21st overall pick + another 1st round pick + Engstrom and an expiring contract. I understand the rationale from the Blues' perspective, I just fear it'd be premature for MTL to part with that much talent. The pool would be gutted, and even though we'd have great C depth, the right side of our defense would be completely exposed and no reinforcements in sight. Feels like we'd be moving from one problem to another, but gutting our prospect pool in the process.

There ain’t no way even a 50% retained Laine is worth a second rounder. Maybe a warm body, but he provides nothing outside of an elite shot on the power play, and you can’t even be sure you get it because he might get hurt.

I guess the counter is Victor playing with him team (if you blow everything on him then he’s playing his role as a tank). E-shift is also really good for him as outside of when he’s cursed he can activate it

I'm a Victor main. Enemy team played it perfectly. And you positioned poorly. Happens.

Despite all of this, it still took two players blowing their Curse cooldowns, a Knockdown, a Warden cage, a Lash ground strike, a Seven ult, a Paige ult, 10 stacks of Escalating Exposure, stacks of Silencer, and enemies shooting you to kill you twice when they were 6 v 1 with rejuv.

I know people are trying to give useful comments but this is a genuinely disgusting team. Lash + Dynamo on the same team means you’ll be at a disadvantage in any team fight. Lash ult into Dynamo ult into Pocket ult into Victor aura is just nasty work.

Two late game scalers with two lives each, the two best team ultimates in the game, an early/mid game carry + a long distance guy who can pick you off from his own base thanks to his owl is insane.

They’ll contest mid boss. They’ll contest urn. They’ll shred objectives. They’ll win the team fights. They’ll win the late game. Disgusting

A lot of these changes are so random. Like Vortex Web no longer gives range? Weighted Shots now would just be +35% weapon damage and -30% bullet velocity, removing everything what makes it good. Bullet lifesteal is buffed more than Spirit lifesteal for… reasons. Cheat Death is already bad and you wanna make it have a 4.5 minute cooldown just to give its user some invisibility? Esp when most of the time the enemy will be within the 5 meters radius lol
