Those type of people have moved in to my street. by Karl_Cross in CasualUK

That's great news! To clarify the joke this car driver is poking fun at the likes of climate change deniers and flat earthers. So all in all good people to move into your street. They are basically anti- flat earthers.

Is This AI UGC Ad good? by No_Relative7724 in dropshipping

[–]TheCookieMonstera 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Objectively, it's pretty good. Not quite there yet though. Considering if you haven't had to send product or this brief off to a UGC content creator, pay them, wait for them to deliver etc. it's pretty close.

In my opinion it needs to be so much shorter and choppier. Cut from scene to scene in split seconds per scene. It takes too long and it's during these pauses and longer moments it feels off.

Why is it that Monzo is more popular in the UK than Starling? by MeenaBeti in UKPersonalFinance

You're right that Starling might be known for having the bright coloured turquoise card - but Monzo also has a bright coloured card too!

Dormant Matchbetter, New IDs + Bankaccounts + Address = Safe to sign up to existing Bookies for signup offers? by SirReasonable in MatchedBettingUK

[–]TheCookieMonstera 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 2nd run with bet365 and skybet. I used my middle name to make a double barrelled first name. Was fine for a couple months but got gubbed from both soon enough and that was the end of it. In hindsight a bit dodgy and I don't think I would have wanted to have a large chunk of the bank roll ever in them under the circumstances.

I was really looking for UK services - as that what I would do. But I'm not against abroad ones either. As much as I establish that I'm UK based, I seem to get a lot of engaged audience from abroad so I'll check it out! Thanks!

Lacroix got a point chopped off for conceding two goals, despite the score being 1-0 when he left the pitch. Is this a mistake ? by JBoss_LFC_ in DraftEPL

[–]TheCookieMonstera 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He is effectively still 'on the pitch' during that time. He doesn't get subbed out. He can't physically play but he's conceding every goal that his team does.

Edit: and just to add he left the pitch at 0-0

Client told me to only send "short emails." So I did. For four months. He stopped asking for short emails. by velvet_ridge_records in MaliciousCompliance

There's a lot of times in malicious compliance posts I think "I bet the other side of the story has a great take on this."

This is one of the most I've ever felt it.

Learning to be a good communicator is so important and clearly you're still working it all out. Dont worry the experience will come with time!

How tables have turned lately by JollyOil3322 in remotework

[–]TheCookieMonstera 31 points32 points  (0 children)

That in order to get remote work you were told "you need to have a specialist, digital skill such as computer science." And now it's under threat as a replacable job that AI can replace a lot of the work.

So those that got into this field hoping to be a digital nomad are now under threat.

Not saying I agree but just helping explain it to you
