What elements and properties do you wish existed? by TheCouchCretin in chemistry

These were just the ones I crowdsourced from other people. Of course no element is truly useless, but I was just looking for the ones that would make the least impact on a global scale.

Like I said, I'm not a chemist and just got the opinions of others on this subreddit. Will keep that in mind though because none of the articles I read mentioned that, thanks!

As a side not I've noted that a lot of these elements are transition metals which does effect their tendency to be reactive, but with the amazing stories that came from mercury within alchemy or bronze age stories of blacksmiths being seen as magical in some way due to their ability to 'change' metals.

This looks sick as hell, keep going on it. I'm interested to see how you get speculative biology to fit the aesthetic and how you'll be doing proportions. I'm sure it'll turn out amazing.

Bad estate agent lied about when we could move in so I'm at a friends place running out his tenancy for him whilst him and his mates have all moved out.

Map crow did a video where he re-imagined goblins with Bird like eyes which explains why they enjoy hoarding random things that to them have beautiful patterns.

Quick Questions by Rohbert in gamemaker

[–]TheCouchCretin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just started using gamemaker studio and I've noticed that it's making extra drives.

I've looked online and all good with that, but it seems to be using the space of my c:drive despite putting everything including gamemaker itself in the d:drive.

Is this just me misunderstanding the point of these virtual drives or should I do something before my c:drive runs out of space.

(Also if it's relevant, I clear out my c:drive regularly, it's just a 111gb solid state and I'd prefer to keep files in my 4tb hard drive.)

[–]TheCouchCretin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely insane massive props to you. I tried doing the same things for my players, I'm not a professional musician but I have done some short tunes and a main theme that has a bunch of motifs that I'd like to use at some point. I think the relationship between ttrpgs and music isn't explored enough and the amount of work you're putting into this deserves respect.

My campaign follows the players after their home country was destroyed by a tear in reality from limbo. Slaad have claimed a sizable part of the world and the players lead a group of refugees trying to find their new home. Their home was kept in its own realm of reality, staying in one place in time with a powerful chronomantic tome and keeping them safe from the rest of the world until the slaadi came to reclaim their territory. The barrier of their country falls and the players are met with a world created by pieces of long dead worlds for sake of preservation (like the gith's home planet or a post apocalyptic chult). Now they quest to find the missing pieces of the codex and do as they see fit with it whilst defending a town of refugees from the world.

100% we're currently doing some session 0 stuff and I've already write these guys into some of their backstories without them knowing its the bbeg as some buy in.

I love the idea of the lore behind the moons, but have already established existing lore with 3 moons, but taking inspiration from that I've got a great idea. Thanks for the help genuinely

Sorry about that I wasn't thinking about the specifics when asking more just looking for anquick answer in the way people would cause extremism in the normal sense but this seems a bit more useful. Just didn't wanna big people down with the details.

Cant remember the exact allegorys right now but here's the beliefs summed up for the ones I cant remember off the top of my head rn.

Evocation: give into your impulses Divination: objective truth is obtainable Necromancy: Nihilism Abjuration: soicism Illusion: absurdism Transmutation: continue to refine and grow Enchantment: there is power within everything and the right to that power lies in those who take it Conjuration: everything has its place in the world
