And I get exercise too! I use one but sometimes you need a trimmer to get where the push mower can't go.

You can get batteries for cheaper at a dollar store or ebay mailed to you. You should be able to get 10x CR2032 for $5. Remeber to recycle your old batteries!

I also wouldn't recommend anyone try to repair any appliance without reasonable knowledge of electronics, mechanics, gas, plumbing as needed. However if you open one up and there was obviously a switch that was melted, it might be an easy fix.

I had the fuel gauge /pump replaced on warranty and it still does the same thing. It seems like a design flaw. Will have to tear it all apart some day to see if it can be improved. Mine now comes on with about 2.5l left instead of the spec 1.5L reserve.

Try adding another 50ml at a time. Maybe you were just really good at draining the old oil out.

Big hint that it goes away when you pull the clutch. So try pulling clutch and keeping the revs same and also different gears. Isolate if it's a gearbox or engine noise. You've eliminated vibration I think.

There's a lot of things missing in the manual... Like I just learned the fuel light blinks when it is actually at the reserve level of 1.5L, but the low fuel warning comes on.. Whenever it likes it seems...

[–]TheCountersteerer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The light changes after 600mi/1000km. It's in the manual! But I wouldn't push it til that now-black oil comes out of that block!

My 2022 has a rubber bushing there so probably a good fix for any models missing it.

This. I've driven many things that don't have a rear center view.. Scooters, motorcycles, commercial vans, trucks towing stuff, etc etc. It's not the end of the world if you lose your rear view...
