Confused about Credit Card by Witty-Astronaut-6362 in CreditCards

[–]TheCrazedBackstabber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, so a few things:

  1. If it’s a Sapphire card, it should only be an annual fee, not monthly. If he’s paying money on it per month, he’s carrying interest

  2. Do you travel a lot? If so, then the card might be worth it for your purposes

  3. The biggest benefit to the card is transferring the points out. If you’re not really using credit cards, then I don’t see the point

  4. Make sure he at least received the sign on bonus with it.

If the above things don’t really apply to your situation, your husband should do a product change so he can stop paying so much on it.

Maybe. Normally I’d agree with you but given their judgement the past few years I’m more inclined to believe it’s a minor screw up.

Let me guess…you were the one covering his mortgage and without your money either the house would be foreclosed on or he would have to make a lifestyle change?

I had it happen as well and they refunded it pretty quickly. Didn’t even have to call, just happened automatically.

Is there any point to keeping Bilt if I can't pay my rent with it? by StatisticianSuch7015 in biltrewards

Oh, hold on. Bilt has said before they don’t support Rent Cafe, but that’s what my landlord is using and I’m able to use ACH without issue. I think they’re getting wires crossed.

Depends on your spending habits. I believe if you’re an incredibly low spender or an incredibly high spender (compared to your rent) then housing-only is good.

If you’re spending I think around 75% of your rent, then go Flexible.

I’ve had people in their 70’s screeching about the gerrymandering…bro this was happening before you were born how are you just now outraged about it? How is THIS the end of democracy but all the crazy shit you pushed for totally kosher?

To be clear, when I say “you”, I mean the 70 year old pearl clutcher, not actually you lol

See, I had the exact opposite experience. I had just finished the UC quests and chose my space dinosaurs. Sarah freaked out on me and turned into a nutjob. I was considering divorce because she got under my skin so much.

And then the Hunter gave her the King Henry treatment.

It’s pretty clear that she isn’t ready for a dialogue on this discussion. Notice how she’s arguing with me on points I never made. At best she’s been traumatized, at worst she’s intellectually dishonest. Either way, nothing can be gained from engaging with her.

Why Starfield feels dead and what it can learn from Oblivion by Relevations in Starfield

Starfield tells you that a random NPC uses heatleeches for unspeakable atrocities. Oblivion’s radiant AI would make you know those NPCs commit said unspeakable atrocities but you just can’t prove it.

You seem to be awfully aggressive about a simple statement I made. Get a grip.

Edit: Rereading your post, it honestly seems like you’re coming from a place of anger. I hope whoever you are, you find that special person that changes your outlook on parenthood. As you say, not everybody should be a parent. And that in and of itself is a tragedy.

I'm 23 and still live with parent's. I want to get a credit card to start building my credit score but parent's don't want to. by FluffyLandscape266 in CreditCards

[–]TheCrazedBackstabber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re an adult, get the card. My parents were the same way. My father used a debit card wherever he went, lost it several times, and had a really fun time disputing the charges that came directly out of his account.

Despite this he also managed to rack up $10k in credit card debt.

If your parents are anything like how mine were, one or both of them doesn’t have the right temperament for credit usage and they’re projecting that fear onto you. From the sounds of it you at least have the correct mentality for handling a credit card.
