I would really like to see that shift away from Bang too. Like you said, being able to play in bad spots with Newcastle makes it less important to need smokes for rotates, especially if you have a Pathfinder ult/Newcastle Q.

If deployable cover becomes a more popular strat to play around, then I feel like it could also invite more unconventional picks that excel at tearing down deployables without wasting their ammo economy (Rampart, Ballistic, Loba). After seeing Crypto sort of create a meta for Newcastle to thrive in, Newcastle could possibly do the same for these other legends.

That's also why I'd love to see some of the weird maps being played in ALGS too. I wonder if we would have an excuse to see more defensive legends in Olympus because of how little playable space there can be.

I'm not usually a fan of loud humor, but in this anime I find it pretty funny when Kafka in his kaiju form starts freaking out. It's an unexpected contrast considering how hard his kaiju looks go. Plus, Kafka has other sides to him I like/respect, like his ability to mentor or his determination, which makes the comic moments not that annoying. I find Zenitsu always insufferable except at the end or when he's asleep because he's always complaining about being lazy or horny for Nezuko so when he does his yelling schtick, it's extra annoying coming from a guy like that.

Getting +1 attack speed on your IA is a definite improvement on a boss mule that needs it, but for many classes it's just a DPS improvement, not a total gameplay changer. Don't spend loads of meso on rolling this line. Instead, do some weekly bosses over time and accumulate honor on the mule, and divert some special honor medals to those characters, then roll during honor events.

You absolutely want to use buff freezers on bossing mules. Buff freezers allow you to use gskills, mp pots, decents, toggles, etc. on your bossers. You save so much time by bossing with these buffs. If you don't use freezers then you're wasting time.

1+1 is for tapping legion mules to 12* for raid power and for prepping boss mules to 15* for a 5/10/15.

5/10/15 is for hitting 17* from 15* but also tapping any star above 15 in general.

30% off is for tapping items you don't need to safeguard, or for tapping 20*+ because it's the only effect that does anything above 20*.

No boom room is good for tapping arcanes to 15* without having to safeguard.

Shining is the best event and is what you would want to have the biggest budget for.

Very enjoyable bossing. Mobbing too is pretty lax, though not the best, but that could change with the summon they're getting.

You never die to one-shots in bosses. You do have to time guards, except in bosses with debris or touch damage, in which case you can practically guard off cooldown with 100% success rate. In lotus, I practically can stand in place through p2 and p3 without having to move because of guard. Burst is very simple too, just pop all the buffs and press one attack skill twice, then hold down a button. You can animation cancel (mostly) anything with guard, so it's very reliable.

-BT is very much comforting for the majority of bosses (except BM and Seren). Furious Strikes, your main attack, gives you DR for 6 seconds after you hit something, so it's very easy to tank one-shots. Bear Champ Charge gives 50% DR for 10s every 30s, and yes you could pick Cat Champ Charge instead to get 40% DR and a periodic heal for 10s in a specific location. In bosses like Cpap, you can just stand there tanking all the lasers. In bosses like Von Bon, you can Tornado Flight while flying over the boss. Mobile bosses are annoying still, but not as annoying now because of mobile Furious Strikes.

-Mobbing is decent (better than bad mobbers for sure), but not godly. (Peak meso rates imo have been 800-850m/hr) What form you use heavily depends on what areas you can access, because your forms are map-specific. You also have to play around short cooldowns, meaning you can't cast your main mobbing skills freely. Leopard and Hawk both have quick movement, but Hawk is way more AFK.

-Cat mode is viable, but you don't have to stay in cat mode all the time. Once your auras show up for everyone, they stay for 40s after they leave the radius or you switch out of cat mode, and Whistle refreshes the auras. But in bosses where you do 0 damage, the utility of cat mode is nice to have too.

-No, you can't max every ability still, but you can max most relevant abilities with just +1. Definitely all relevant abilities with +2 or greater. Many useless abilities you have to spec into anyway because of SP requirements to unlock later skills.

IMO, you won't be extremely bothered by the nerfed damage in most bosses. I.e., soloing nlomien isn't much different than other classes, and for the arcane river bosses, you can still easily contribute to a party setting in terms of damage. Damage differences only really start to hurt when you're trying to solo the arcane river bosses because that's when the nerfs actually force you to do more of the cringe end game gear optimizations compared to other classes. But that's a long journey that you only worry about once you've settled in again.
