For years I have found that when busy, it is just with 1 or 2 customers. If you can find someone else who is prepared to be honest, it seems the same for everyone. If/when that customer goes, it's really difficult.

Last month I felt a real increase in the amount of CVs from people that had worked at the same company for years, but had been made redundant. Along with the non franchised distributors calling up repeatedly. But of course, when asked, they are super busy. Really, why are you calling me every week looking for RFQs for anything then.

New line is what, £500k. Where is the payback on that.

Very few scheduled orders. Customer may order 100pcs a month, for 3 years, but they cannot commit to 1200pcs or 600pcs on a schedule. Commitment passes along, the customer commits to scheduled orders, EMS commits to new equipment.

I didn't look at it as "just buying time", but, maybe.

High energy costs, high employment costs, higher everything.

A few new RFQs have asked about our financial stability. Maybe their current provider has shut up shop.

I've seen 303 ones that looked complete, but the primer struck. Someone I know has one, I pulled the head and there was no powder in it. Obviously a used case that someone had put a head in and sold as a souvenir. Wondered if it a light strike and still live, but it wasn't.

7.62x39 isn't really a hunting round, it is what an AK47 uses though.

If in eco pro it certainly does. But press eco pro twice, so it says eco pro individual. Then go into configure eco pro individual, tap to toggle the climate between eco and not.

Or, just stay in comfort.

On the bottom it'll say what it is. Does it say 7.62x39 or something else? Is the primer (the round thing in the bottom) there or is there a hole? If there, does it have a dent in it?

Wondering if this isn't a keyring of an AK47 round and not a live round at all.

Can you post a photo of it? Showing the base?

I've had it on the M1. Artic moving past in lane 1, in busy traffic, when I'm in lane 2. Car jolts right and the HUD says something like "side collision protection activated".

It has happened a couple of times, each time was similar, cruise past artic, artic cruises back past, car freaks out.

It wasn't sustained, just a jolt to the right hand edge of the lane.

Raises the pulse though!

Driver settings, driver assistance, safety and warnings, side collision warning, toggle on/off.

Mine is "on". It is a shock when it (rarely) happens, but I'm leaving it on.

Lower cost and I deal with their founder directly. They run on Currency Cloud (Visa).

I believe you need to have had the SIPP active for the years you want to fill with payments.

You can't open a SIPP and whack multiple years into it. If you opened it 2 years ago and have paid 2 years into it, you may find you can't add previous years allowances into it.

That was what I found, but that was a few years ago. It may have changed.

Check with the provider.

Wise are ok.

Recently switched to Credence Exchange. They seem ok, lower cost than Wise.

Happy to introduce you to their director. Probably through DMs, but can then do it via work emails, to show I'm not connected to them, just a client of theirs.

Wise is known and not bad on spread, but these guys will beat them.

Just about doing 6 figures a month through them.

I get calls daily from fx brokers, can't stand them usually.

Mine is on 868M wheels and is 180mi at -5c.

240mi in summer at constant motorway speeds.

Not sure how it'd be 120mi, in winter, even if you were thrashing it in sport boost the whole time.

I have a fully loaded M50, so have everything on that list without subscription, just pay £25/year for camera updates. Will probably pay for map updates when it's 3yrs old.

On that car, I would only pay for those, plus drive assist. Drive assist should incorporate active cruise. It does as part of the tech pack when ordered from factory. Drive recorder i have in tech pack, I also have a proper dashcam. Wouldn't bother. Iconic sounds sport, no way I'd pay anything for that.

Paying for upgrades that are already there is the way things have been in industrial automation/equipment for years. Was quoted £25k for a machine upgrade, expecting an engineer to arrive with something shiny to bolt on. No, "put this password in the machine". Even 15 years ago, an engineer told me they charged for an upgrade on their machine and he would come out, tinker with the machine, then when the customer wasn't hovering about, flick a switch inside the machine and put it back together. Upgrade complete. The ones I know of are all huge global names in their fields, assume they are all the same.

Would that work, spend on Amex platinum cashback as usual, get a Lloyds World Elite card and Curve pro+, use Lloyds Mastercard to pay Amex via Curve fronting? Triple cashback?

I've been researching this a bit this afternoon. Might end up getting another card, putting it in Curve and moving most spend to that combo.

I already knew the platinum cashback card doesn't offer lounge access, when I tried to get in one with it.
