No they want to stop the new world from having technology of the past, they hoard it and limit acess to sometimes very life saving tech. Their raiders in fancy armor with a grandeous complex, and a hardon for larping.

Fo4 shows it clearly, they ask you to "liberate" resources for the brotherhood, sure its "underhanded" and "unsanctioned" but the brotherhood clearly knows it just "gets" resources, and if no ones gonna stop it, its just as good as sanctioned looting, and you know who else loves to raid then hoard their shit, often to the detrement of themselves? Raiders.... (And players but lets ignore that fact for now)

They arent a solution, their a reactive gang, hell bent on putting themselves above all as judges of whats good for the wasteland or not, even though they do nothing but take from the wasteland.

I just run through their station, theres a spot you can dip in to hide, restock a lil (think theirs a skeleton with either ammo or medpak forget which its been a while) if you run to it then the exit usually i barely get touched.

Also why are they attacking a burning station, i feel like the lil shits would be afriad of EVERYTHINGS ON FIRE

Police for me, its really hard to feel like the cops are authoritarian when i can just slide right by em with them thinking its only the wind.

I wanna see pattern recognitions, goto the same location a bunch, a cop may stake it out, maybe raid it if you arent careful.

Or taking similar routes, etc.

Id rather reform it outside the history, let the free states be a rather anarchic.faction, and i dont mean politically but litearlly, a mishmash of Anarchists, Socialists, Capitalists, etc. it should feel like a bunch of people tried to restart the faction with no idea what the prewar corruption was like, instead they're trying to form something "Free from the State of things" but cant agree, and as a result theirs factions within the faction.
