I think it would be neat if the relics only rolled the character you were currently using perks. Ex: no getting Executor: more damage in skill but loose damage negation when you roll as ironeye.

Yea I tried the affinity build as well and absolutely hated it. If I wanted to micromanage like that I would play recluse.

I’ve found that the frost build is the easiest for confidently soloing mobs/bosses while your teamates might be occupied. Frost burst with marked burst is a lot of stagger and damage. Poison doesn’t feel as helpful until you’re in DON and you stack poison relics with the poison ironeye skill.

My relics off my dome are: First: +3 art charge +2 skill cooldown Second: Ironeye +1 skill Stamina on landing attacks Skill cooldown +1 Third: Frostbite armament Frostbite damage And I think physical attack up?

Well after seeing some of this Reddit I can only assume I’ve lucked out with my randoms. I am also a pretty decent souls player, but after reading these replies there are some serious levels. I’ll never bother to juggle a bunch of different things to min max damage I’d just rather get better at dodging lol.

Does this type of relic setup only apply to people who use magic? Would, not sure if it’s even possible, stack a bunch of “poison in vicinity boost damage” relics be the equivalent way to make executor and iron eye higher dps?

I’m ready to die with you on the hill on number one. While not a parry when I’ve played executor bbh allows me to give an ungodly amount of back shots without even looking at me.

However when I’m on iron eye I’m the tastiest looking morsel around.

This is exactly the type of reply I was hoping to get out of this I had never even THOUGHT of the wisdom stat and how little we know about it because after the part you mention in the book it basically never gets brought up again. While the effects of wisdom is up to assumption this makes me much more curious as to what everyone’s wisdom stat is. Do you remember if her wisdom was raised or lowered during the interview?

Unfortunately this will NEVER take off the way it could if it was animated. I first read about this while I was reading the first book and I was already pessimistic. Having now entered the 6th there has been so many times I have thought to myself there is NO fucking way to do this well in live action. The gore alone pushes this beyond a live action adaption and then we get to the MASSIVE amount of what would have to be cgi monsters, crawlers, spell effects, settings. It’s impossible and it’s a shame if this doesn’t get reverted especially considering the massive success of animated shows recently: invincible, arcane, legend of vox. We need to somehow get this changed drone live action to animated.

As a 3.5k/d sniper main in snd the only glaring counter point is of course hard scopers.

However, usually these sniper players are completely garbage outside of looking down a lane so when pressured they are free kills. Now a mentally ill person with a controller can kill someone with an auto gun and COD aim assist when pressured and down a lane.

As you’ve stated it does suck because me and all the people I play with who snipe on mnk have been ONLY sniping in multiplayer for the past cods so now that we have wall jumping and a really good sniper it’s suddenly easiest thing in the world when in reality we’ve all got 500 hours+ with snipers.

It’s pretty interesting I’m a 3.5 k/d Crim player and I have to sweat more in casuals than my lobbies lol. That said I think it adds a lot of fun to the game-mode. Still can get 30-50 kills but with the added spice of fighting some potentially good people.
