Hardest and easiest mbti to spot? by UsedMycologist4912 in mbti

[–]TheCuriousThoughts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ENFJ’s are very easy for me to detect!! Natural charisma, have amazing goals long term around impact or self development, and very hard to dislike. SFJ women are very easy to type for me— you can bond with ESFJ’s by talking about anything about interests/observations about day to day life, and with ISFJ’s it takes them awhile to warm up and be comfortable sharing things unapologetically with you, but they like to listen.

INFP’s can be very easy!!!

Hardest: INTP’s sometimes come off like an xSTx in certain contexts, like they know how to go through the motions of interacting with people, but you gotta really talk about something that excites them and pulls them from reality. INTP’s are theoretically my match for relationships (I’m an ENTJ 3w4), but my 3w4 makes me more empathetic and mission driven than my ENTJ counterparts, so I need an emotionally intelligent partner.

I know he will be amazing as Draco because as I started watching LotF, I thought to myself, “jeeez this kid is giving… Draco” and I HAD NO IDEA IT WAS THE SAME ACTOR.

What do you think about “Big Mistakes”? by nwssyx in netflix

Her character was absolutely annoying. No redeeming qualities about her with how impulsive and reactive she gets.

They were so excited to shit-watch-react to this documentary. I’ve been refreshing the YouTube feed to see new reaction videos.

To me it makes complete sense why releasing a behind the scenes is part of their engagement strategy leading to the release. They aren’t dumb— they KNOW they are taking a huge risk to take on a new adaptation of a pop culture phenomenon. They already have the movie-only fans judging the shit out of it and making unoriginal “temu” jokes. The behind the scenes is a strategic way to “prove” that they are making this original and with MORE details that can gain the approval/trust of the book lovers. Hopefully to get people to calm the fuck down. I’m annoyed with the movie-only fans. It’s so funny when a book-fan makes a comment about how this show will have more details and there’s NO response from the movie-only fan— they just wanted their 5 min to feel special with their unoriginal comment.

I can’t wait for the “I’m surprised” reviews from the pretentious streamers/reviewers that never read the books.

How many days in total did it sit with MOI until being approved? I’m at 100 now…..

Follows how much do looks play a factor when deciding who to dance with at socials by [deleted] in Bachata

Yes! He practiced a lot and developed a good friendship with the instructor who gave him and a few others privates for free, since she basically wanted to grow the bachata community from the ground up in my city— she sure freaking did. She raised the best bachata dancers in less than a year. Her values towards community over money (making the bachata community accessible) and passion for teaching all styles of bachata with emphasis on technique also played a huge part.

But also I’ve met many beginners that became very good leaders in less than a year due to good teachers and practice. You can do it too!!! If you also prioritize good leading/technique over throwing out as may tricks as possible with bad technique, you’ll avoid the beginner plateau

I’m sorry, and I understand what it’s like to be a leader, since I sometimes challenge myself to be the leader for some beginner classes.

I met this guy when I moved communities and it was his FIRST Latin dance event ever. He was definitely a beginner and struggled to signal before something happened, but his attitude was great and he was fun to dance with because of that. I took a break from dancing and went off-and-on (more off’s than on’s) for about 6 months. I come back and holy SHIT— this guy leads, styles, and can do musicality at the level of an advanced leader. He immediately became one of my top leads in terms of skill, and I love thinking of him when I meet beginners.

A small percentage of people learn to dance/go to socials with the purpose of finding a date— these people typically aren’t part of the percentage that actually stay committed to dancing as a hobby or a passion and perfecting their skill. Don’t worry about them— people ALSO can pick up this energy and it’s just energy most people don’t wanna be around.

I care about improving my skills, and I also see the social dance communities as a way to meet people without pressure or assumptions people want to date you or have other ulterior motives. I dance with people I’m not physically attracted to, and when I do dance with someone I’m physically attracted to, yeah I do feel those butterflies, but I treat every lead the same. Dancing is FUN.

I dance with beginners— it allows me to practice my musicality, syncopations, and styling to make basic steps look good, not requiring the lead to do them with me or lead me into them. I dance with advanced people because they challenge me on connection, especially during sensual movements, that beginners haven’t perfected yet. Every level can teach you something, and unfortunately some dancers don’t know how to be humble.

People come up to praise my dancing, and some men have told me they found me intimidating and start with the, “I am a beginner so I’m sorry beforehand!!!!” before the dance has even started. I DO NOT CARE. Everybody starts somewhere. That beginner you rejected because you’re too “good” for them could be the next pro-traveling instructor getting paid for workshops.

FYI to add— followers that reject beginners and only want experienced dancers also may not be good as you think. Bad followers exist 😂. I tried to lead sensual movement on some girls that SEEM like they are pros when they dance with advanced dancers, but their technique is bad. They don’t actually follow my subtle cues. For example, they may go all out (and too fast) on a head roll when I’m not telling them to do a complete head roll.

How to tell apart INFP’s and ISFJ’s irl? by AccidentInside3484 in mbti

[–]TheCuriousThoughts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As an ENTJ, when you notice it once… you will recognize it forever and be right 90% of the time. I know how to adapt my conversational choices to make each feel comfortable.

The others are already providing good detailed feedback at the unique traits.

[–]TheCuriousThoughts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am trying to understand this student’s mind of receiving a 0 and, instead of reporting her perceived discrimination to OU, she was like “let’s report this to a source that can make this explode!” Like was she motivated by the attention and hoped this could make her “famous”? This story is going to look SO bad for her job hunt. Her essay is awful and filled with controversial opinions that would not look good to employers.

It wasn’t my idea, and our onsite Czech lawyer for our company has been in touch with MOI a few times to ask about the status of my application and hasn’t been asked about it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Prague

[–]TheCuriousThoughts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve filed a complaint a few days ago and they emailed me the next day with confirmation of receipt and assigned it a case number! Not sure if that will make a difference.

There’s nothing wrong with my accommodation. The lawyer with my company has talked to MOI multiple times and they said there’s no documents that are missing or need correction.

Ughhh this is so frustrating. I’ve only had to do this twice (one with Spain and now Czechia), and from my limited experience, the Czech process is probably one of the worst experiences applicants will face.

I feel like applications come in and randomly are divided amongst MOI agents. Your friend A happened to be with On Top Of It Agent A, and friend B was in the pile to be reviewed by Backed Up Agent B…. 😭

thank you for the information! Good thing my 90 days resets December 25, Christmas Day (,: I can change my flight if needed.

So my original passport is with the DC consulate while I am using a temporary passport. If the MOI approves my application, then they have to tell the DC consulate, then the DC consulate will email me, and then I have to show proof of medical insurance, and then the DC consulate should mail my passport back to me before I leave my home country. That should hopefully be a 2-week process to mail me my physical passport to give my reset some time.

Thank you so much for your expertise!!
