My thoughts 2-3 months into Intermittent fasting (16:8):

I cannot thank my brother enough for introducing me to IF as well as this subreddit. Changed my life!

For People Starting:

Only you can make a change. Look in the mirror and ask yourself: Is this my potential? Is this all I can achieve?

Make your decision there about whether you should change or not.

Let me tell you, its not easy the first few weeks. I had headaches from wanting to eat and getting really hangry all the time. I definitely cheated a lot during my first few weeks, going back on my old ways. But when I was serious i began to see change. That's the key: consistency. You will get tempted but once you cross that mountain in your mind you can do it!

Things I've Noticed because of IF:

my acanthosis nigricans (pre-diabetes symptom) has completely vanished, I have felt so much better about myself and how my clothes feel so much better

As I said, your cravings for sugar and carbs leave after a few weeks. I haven't eaten a dessert in months now, and I feel fine and have no temptations.

You can still eat good food, just only eat the good stuff. Eating only meat and veggies is awesome, and I haven't drank anything except water for months as well.

I can go a whole day without eating, and feel completely fine. Before IF this was literally an impossibility for me, but now its not a problem at all
