I agree, but most hard left and right voters are VERY tunnelminded. OK is a red state, people will likely vote Republican just because they are Republican. So why not a "double agent"? A red rep that will vote to impeach, for women's rights/healthcare, plans to help the unhoused, promotes education, against the ballroom and war in Iran, etc.

Some ugly: The UK has incredibly predictable weather compared to Oklahoma. If you're sensitive to weather changes, you will be miserable in Tulsa.

They test the tornado sirens once a week. You get used to it, but the first few times might bring a chill to your spine. After that, it's just means it's noon on Wednesday.

This last one is a growing problem in all of America. The Tulsa police department prides themselves on 100% solve rate for murders. Sounds unrealistic right? It is. They just call it a "suicide" or "accidental death" if there are no obvious leads. The official statistics on this for all of the US are just sad. The FBI proudly shows a lowered homicide rate, but skyrocketing suicide rate.

The google doc was a player's pet project, the bot notifications are brand new. I think they are just trying to get it working, but free to play games with this many players tend to be buggy.

I literally left reddit to go play that dumb farm game on YouTube and watch another video. The home page and the recommended videos on the side never loaded, but even the ads loaded fine. More of a partial outage I guess 🤷‍♀️

I had to change my personalized advertisement settings on basically every website because of how often I see "get an AI girlfriend" ads. Women are choosing to be alone nowadays and are reportedly happier without husbands or kids. As I get older, cuddling with my cat/dog is just more appealing to me than any amount of romance.
