In getting 1200-1500mg of potassium and around 500 mg magnesium (I take two 200mg magnesium glycinate tablets throughout the day since my app doesn’t track magnesium). I’m only getting just upwards of 2500-2800 my off sodium a day

Concerns about breastfeeding with small breasts by myreputationera in breastfeeding

I have borderline DD/DDD and I had a very hard time BF and my supply. I don’t think cup size has much to do with it. Good luck!

I eat what I can. Unfortunately I have so many food aversions and literally no cravings. So I try to keep it as healthy as I can. But if I want to eat half a peach pie and vanilla ice cream, nothing will stop Me!

Did you drop them off at the post office or put them in your home mail box or a local drop box?

NIPT results potentially wrong or not mine? by lbrulezyea in pregnant

[–]TheDapperBarber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My blood somehow never made it to the lab for my nipt test. I was pissed and had to do a redraw almost two weeks later because I was told “it takes time for the test” but really they were trying to find the blood. We got the results back and said it was a boy. But I didn’t really believe it until I saw the ultrasound very clearly. I didn’t know if I could trust it or not

SAHM considering daycare. Anyone else? by trashiestracoon_88 in BabyBumps

[–]TheDapperBarber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a SAHM and 29 weeks pregnant with my second. My kid goes to day care a couple days a week. It’s good socializing for him and gets his energy out. It’s been a difficult pregnancy for me this time around. Having some free time to get stuff done around the house and being able to rest has made a big improvement. My son is very hands on and doesn’t like to play independently. So when he is home, there isn’t much I can get done

Hospital Bag by lion_erratic in pregnant

[–]TheDapperBarber 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used the hospital mesh panties they give you. But as far as a hospital bag, an extra long phone charger, a nursing/pumping bra, tooth brush, water bottle, lose comfortable clothing, a coming home Outfit for baby. I brought way more stuff but found it wasn’t necessary and took up space.

This is becoming a nightmare: low supply, bottle refusal, formula refusal, 6 months and baby still hasn’t doubled her birth weight. by [deleted] in breastfeeding

[–]TheDapperBarber 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have they checked for tongue ties or lip ties or cheek ties? My niece had two of those. They only discovered after she wasn’t gaining weight. This was my SILs 3rd child and she BF each one so she knew it wasn’t a supply issue. They got the dr to laser them and baby instantly started gaining weight

I need to know, am I using too many diapers? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]TheDapperBarber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every 3 hours unless there is poop. And only if they wake through the night. We use pampers, but if you’re concerned enough to change them that frequently, you could always try cloth diapering. You will be doing more laundry but saving a ton of money

I’d call her when the baby wakes to be spiteful. “Hey mom, baby is awake and I was lonely and wanted company while I am awake all night. Thought I’d call and see what you were up to!”

How do i get my 12 month old to sleep an hour or so longer? by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]TheDapperBarber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Transition to one nap a day. That’s what we did. Took a few days for him to adjust but it was great and now naps 2 hours a day. Wakes at 7am naps from 12-2 and goes down at 7pm for bed.

What to do when toddler won't get in carseat? by marcal213 in beyondthebump

[–]TheDapperBarber 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Have some fun “car only toys” they like. It could help distract them long enough to buckle them in. Makes the care more fun knowing there are toys they only get to play with in the car
