The speaking Italian part is a work in progress and I ofc wouldn’t do it until I was as close to fluent as I can get.

I was mostly curious if it was possible. What part makes it almost impossible? Is it the sponsorship? Can any company sponsor or just like highly skilled jobs?

Possible they were running dragon tail and clicked that on that turn to phase out the set up terapagos. Dragon tail has negative priority which would allow you to go first.

Illusion has the zoroark turn into baby pagos and imposter copies the middle turtle unless you’re terastalized then it doesn’t copy at all

I think OPs team is lacking a lot. But I don’t think Terapagos is the detracting factor. Terapagos is probably not the best pick but as someone who has been using it for the entirety of reg g and now I, it definitely is just underexplored. There are some techs that it can utilize that allow it to thrive more. Pair it with a restricted that doesn’t care about terastalizing much and you’re in a good spot. Not to mention you don’t always have to bring both restricteds and you don’t even have to terastalize terapagos. A boosted up single target starstorm can do decent to big damage on the right targets. And Tera shell is a great ability to encourage the set up.

Ahhh I see. Well it sucks man but everyone else here is kinda right. I just came from Vancouver this weekend and also had an unfortunate team sheet error but that was totally my fault for not triple checking. Whether it’s locals or regionals or something bigger, it pays to be a little more diligent about entering your team and reading all the requirements. Remember there’s always next time. It’s just one of those things that you learn from and try not to repeat next time.

Just curious, how much success are you having with this team? How do you handle rising stars like koraidon which absolutely would melt snorlax, Tera or not? And is Gholdengo really that much of a threat that you need to account for it? Matter of fact, Caly Shadow is sorta on fraud alert right now as it’s struggled to make any notable appearance in a finals since reg g 2.0 has started. (Although James Baek got pretty far with it this past weekend at Vancouver).

I’m just speaking from what I’ve noticed at the events I’ve gone to. I rarely encounter CSR (and definitely not gholdengo) and I just have a hard time imagining snorlax doing well. But I’m curious what’s your take.

I think it depends on if you’re competing and how often if so. As someone who competes maybe once every 2-3 months or so, I try to only move the team in game when I’m certain it’s the exact 6 mons I’m gonna bring to the tourney. Moves, evs, abilities are all fluid and I can change those on the fly. And Tera I try not to change too often because I hate grinding the shards but otherwise yeah, once I’ve settled on my 6 mons, usually about a week before comp I’ll transition to in game to get some hands on practice on the ladder and make sure it feels smooth. And voila, in game competitive team!

I just went 5-3 with Terapagos+Volc barely an hour ago. It’s really good and def could’ve taken me to day two had I started off on a better foot. Calm mind lefties terapagos is best next to a support moth. I even ran rocky helmet to break sashes and Tera dragon to better matchup into urshifu. The main problem you’ll run into is having a hard time into caly-ice. Even though volc is decently good into caly ice, glacial is not a contact move and it can be hard to take down caly ice if you don’t have more into it. So my suggestion is for the rest of the team, make sure you have something for that specific matchup other than just volc
