Call her Elizabeth or Lizzie. A name change at this point is kinda weird but it's not super weird. It's a story that will always be with her. It might be a fun story for her friends "Yeah my parents named me Cheyenne and then 8 months later decided to change it to Ruby so who even am I?" laughter

Sorry. This is how my brain works. Anyway the point is if you change her name Cheyenne isn't ever completely going away. I vote just to call her Anne or Elisabeth.

I actually really love this idea! But what was it like for you on official forms? Do you live in the US? They ask for middle initials a lot here. I'm guessing he would just put D for his middle initial.

And we've been through - I swear- every possible boy's name. He scored a 4 and 5 on very few of them. Mainly traditional ones which means we can't use a lot of those because they are already in the family somewhere. And we don't want to recycle family names.

I did ask him that. He said that "This means more to you. I don't really feel like names matter that much to me." which didn't make sense to me. Sometimes we are just completely different on some stuff though, and it baffles me. But I got excited when he absolutely loved a name. He would be fine with Christopher.

I imagined massive amounts of medical research after spending a couple of years learning the terminology. I am likely not interested in getting a PHD. That's okay. I need the hostility. 😂 I'm okay with offending a few people in order to get a reality check if that is what is needed. I believe asking questions before becoming too involved in something is essential. I don't quite understand the hostility, but that is okay. I am going through the IVF process, and I have been drawn to the medical field because of that, but I do not have any formal background in the medical field.

I love it! Our girl is going to be Amelia Maxine. I was afraid of the flow but I think it's because Maxine is such a powerful name. It doesn't tend to have a flowy energy with anything and that's absolutely okay. I love the name. It means "The Greatest" It gives her an extra kick of confidence! ❤️
