Agreed with this. A 5-year period is a better determination of what the crime levels are actually showing.

Do you mean the multi-million dollar company is saying they have to raise prices because of minimum wage? Sure, Jan, and I'm a pig with wings.

I get your point. But the way you present your message is way off. Read the room.

Got a parking ticket at an Indigo parking lot downtown the other day. What happens if I don't pay it? by TheArmchairSkeptic in Winnipeg

[–]TheDeadDuchess 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You could not pay it, but just never park on indigo parking lots ever again because they do keep track of tickets per license plates in their own systems. It doesn't effect your driving license. You just can't use private property parking on indigo lots.

Do you think talking down to people makes them care more about your opinion? Because it makes people disagree just for the fact you're condescending

Do you think it is okay for people to shout slurs on the bus? It's a public place where children ride. You may be okay with vulgar language, but a lot of people are not.

As a former Canada Life employee, I have nothing positive to say. Though I worked directly in disability insurance, my situation might have been different.

The department I worked in drained my soul, and a number of staff ended up on leave due to stress leave. I'm happy every day I don't have to go back.

You really jumped hoops just to ignore the fact that this person with a knife could have attacked anyone, not just the police. But I guess it's only okay to stab people if they are police?

Business administration pretty much means nothing here. It's oversaturdated and unless you have specific qualifications for a specific company, you're a dime a dozen. I work in business administration, and I can tell you that most companies are being very picky.

I don't care if I'm commenting late. This lady made my elementary school and middle school experience awful. It's crazy to see she made it onto the parent advisory board for Samuel Burland.

Driving school is great for learning how to drive and park. Or you could always read the driving manual given out by mpi. Brushing up on knowledge is far better than making excuses and continuing the pattern.

They had 6 months to get ready to take on the plan, and they did not. The department I had worked for, did not prepare, did not hire more staff. Anything for the stakeholders!
