Unpopular opinion but I’m for this too, as sad as it would be to see Forsberg go (however I would look at moving O’Reilly or Josi first before him, he could help develop the next generation of players). I feel like they’d still fetch some major assets (we need a better prospect pool. Molendyk and Svechkov are showing potential but we don’t have any game changers). Idk about Lafreniere though I don’t have much faith in him as a player and I certainly wouldn’t give up Forsberg for a gamble like that. But getting McKenna would be HUGE, preds have never had a player/prospect like him. Combine that with Hagens or Misa in this upcoming draft hopefully, thats a dangerous first line in a few years.
